Quiet and restful
We loved staying here! Jos could not have been more helpful and kind. He lives right next door. The pluses are that you are never far from anything in Bonaire, from attractions to grocery stores. The property is beautiful and we loved the large opening to the outside and the pool. The tree house is magical and another intimate outside space to go to. The pool was just the right temperature and size. There are plenty of blow-dryers ( ladies! ) And you don't really need an electric converter unless you want to use a straightener by the mirror! The coffeemaker only makes one pot at a time with whole beans, so if that's important to you, I advise bringing a small coffee maker. The water is good, so no need for nasty one use plastic water bottles. Favorites site is Lac Bay! The water is calm, warm, and shallow. On the way, stop by the donkey sanctuary! They are a hoot! Shore snorkeling and diving are excellent. But beware, there are not many sandy beaches to sunbathe as the shore is pretty rocky ( iron shore). Each bedroom has a beach bag, beach towels, small cooler, refrigerator and a safe! They have thought of everything! The stove is conduction so ask how to use it if you're not already familiar- trust me in this. Oh and watch for the hilarious parrots that fly above and cackle at each other!
