Unfortunately, our stay at this location (Ploenlay) was one of extreme disappointment. I’m not normally one to write an extensive negative review, however, in this case I felt it was warranted. At approximate 9AM we were confronted and accused in our hotel room by the head receptionist of using the hotel’s laundry facilities without permission and that they THREATENED TO INVOLVE THE POLICE to investigate this issue which would have involved detaining us and “taking our finger prints”. When we asked if she had any proof of us using the laundry machine she said no even though there was a CCTV camera in the lobby that could have identified who had used the machine. When I denied our use of the laundry facility she stated that I was a liar. Fortunately, my wife and I had ventured approximately 30-45mins to a self-serve laundry facility the previous day where I took a series of photos of us using the self-service laundry facility and the surrounding landmarks. When I showed these photos to the receptionist all I received was an incoherent grumble. Ultimately, there was no apology from either the owner or the receptionist for their accusations. Most despicable, however, was the next morning when we left the hotel the manager and receptionist parked their car to block the luggage ramp so we had to carry our luggage down multiple concrete steps. As soon as we carried down the luggage, they immediately moved their car. Disrespectful beyond belief.

Great stay
Great place to stay in Ao Nang. Quiet side street in great location close to both beaches. Room was great, spacious. Just to note its all stairs up to the rooms. Fast WiFi, easy check in and out. Would recommend!

The room is really big and have balcony. The toilet was also big. Clean and bed so comfortable. The owner was really kind and helpful. Will definitely come back to stay there again. Not so far from Ao nang but not that close you can walk like 15 mins

No bell boy and no elevator
Value for money, Good location. Quiet Environment. One thing to mention is high floors building with no elevator and no bell boy to to help carry your luggage, and the receptionist also don't want to give a hand. Not recommend for elder peoples and with heavy luggage.

Simple but good hotel
Great location A short walk from either beach and also very close to the night market and another local market. The room was a good size and clean with a balcony, tea and coffee facilities and a fridge, with a 7-11 just round the corner to stock up. As other reviews have said there is no reception, this is true, however they welcome you on arrival and show you the room and how to contact him if needed. The front door has key card entry and the area felt safe, housekeeping and the staff in the attached shop were always very friendly.

Comfortable cheap guesthouse
Large room. Comfortable bed and hot shower. Steep steps up to room and no lift. Good location but some noise from music and early morning alarms.

Veel te kleine onpraktische kamer waar je amper je kont kon keren. Zowel langs t bed gaan was bijna onmogelijk als een bezoekje aan t toilet. T bed was voor de helft echt ingezakt. Verder was de service wel weer beter en t was op loop afstand van alle voorzieningen

Perfectly adequate
Just looking for a space to sleep, here you go. No frills not even reception, guy who owns it has a store next door, doesn’t seem to be a service oriented type of guy, but he doesn’t really need to be, just provides a good clean place to stay. The pillows were the type that are stuffed way too full, almost like a couch cushion so they are a little too high for comfort but that would be my only criticism. Perfect locale for us too.

Great location, Clean, Affordable
Stayed here for 5 nights and loved it. Big clean room, cheap, daily cleaning and water replenishing. 5 minute walk from longboat departing to Railay.
