“We had an amazing time! We bbq’d and played in the pool and hot tub. The host told us about the local feed store, so we went into town and got some cubes for the cows. The kids had a blast feeding the cows! It was comfortable for the number of people we had and a great getaway to the country.”

“If you are looking for a peaceful retreat this is the place. Doe’s Hideaway is even prettier in person. We enjoyed our mornings on the front and back porch drinking our coffee and reading our bibles. What a perfect way to start the day. Had fun fishing and walking around on property, the Alpaca's were entertaining too. The evening skies were spectacular while hearing all the sounds of nature. We will definitely be back when we visit our daughter at Baylor. ”

“The stay at this guest house on a pecan farm was a wonderful experience with all the comforts of home. New appliances, plumbing and bath fixtures. Great back enclosed porch facing the Brazos River valley, we watched the bright stars unobstructed by city lights and enjoyed the absolute silence of the central Texas country. “I booked this place for a weekend getaway with my wife. The place is AMAZING!!! My wife fell in love with the little house and how it was decorated. If you want to just sit outside and enjoy the outdoors, it is very quiet and peaceful. The host of this property is amazing and we even had a lil surprise waiting for us when we arrived. When we return to visit Waco again I will definitely be booking here again!!!”

“We stayed here two nights while we were in College Station for the football game. The was even cuter and cozier in person than the pics! The house is recently remodeled and the host has thought of everything! Beds were great, everything was super clean, and the host left a box of pastries that served as a great breakfast both mornings. We loved the home and would definitely stay again!”

“Our family and friends have been planning our stay for the eclipse viewing for over a year. We stayed at the wonderful Cabin on the Creek about 45 minutes from Waco, where we planned to view. It was a perfect relaxation spot that was just a short drive away from our eclipse viewing spot. Very private, very clean, everything provided for family meals. We highly recommend it.”

“Really nice small town hotel. Extremely friendly front desk. Somewhat dated decor but you know what, it was not worn or frayed and it was clean. Had a king size suite on 3rd floor and have zero complaints. Everything worked: TV, lights, AC, bathroom. Plenty of hot water. Comfortable bed. Worth saying again we felt everything was clean. Breakfast was fine, coffee was fine. Got the kids a complimentary candy at check out. Would definitely go again. ”
