Kapili sunsets are terrific
This was a spacious and lovely unit. Poipu is a great location for beaches, sunsets, shopping and sunshine. We were lucky to see monk seals resting on the beach at Poipu--magnificent creatures. In general the unit is well stocked. I would recommend that the master bath have some renovation--toilet is extremely low and the shower stall is small. The other bathroom was the one we used which was better equipped. The property is well maintained and the fellow residents were friendly.

We had so much- thank you so much! Just wanted to let you know the soap dispenser in large bathroom didn’t really work. Also the screen and slider to patio was stuck a lot. But didn’t make a difference, just wanted you to be made aware. Thanks!

This was our 31st year of vacationing at the Kapili, it is our home away from home. We had a great time using the pool, bbq, and lovely grounds. It is close to shopping, beaches, restaurants, and many other island activities. We will definitely be back soon. Mahalo, The Schaefer's

Perfect location on the sunny side of Kauai
Enjoy your coffee overlooking the ocean and pool from the 2nd floor deck each morning, then walk across the street to the beach. Vacation does not get much more relaxing than this - near boat tours originating in Port Allen, oceanfront hiking, Waimea Canyon and wonderful dining experiences.

My husband and I loved this place. It was very clean, large, well-decorated, and comfortable. The view of the ocean was amazing! We walked across the street every night to view the sunset. Great location! We’ll rent it again.

Treat yourself!
Spent a fabulous nine days in Kauai and loved staying at this condo. Perfect location. The ocean is so much closer than it looks in the pictures! So many great places to walk to, including beaches, restaurants, etc. Owners are very responsive.

Perfect Respite
We enjoyed our stay tremendously The accommodations were spacious and comfy. The place was clean and well cared for. We appreciated the beach chairs and towels. Our favorite part was watching the sunset with a glass of wine. It was a lovely way to end the day after exploring the beautiful island.

My wife and I had a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Poipu Kapili 46. Our hosts were easy to work with and provided us with an incredibly beautiful unit for our weeks stay. The view from the balcony at sunset was amazing.

Magnificent!
We could not have asked for a better place to stay!! The resort is amazing with spectacular ocean views and sunsets. The condo was clean, spacious, the most comfortable bed ever and the view was to die for! We lacked for nothing!

wonderful condo in perfect location
This condo is in a perfect location--we walked to the beach, shops and restaurants. Lovely view from the lanai.; best sunset spot is right in front of the building. Very well equipped kitchen-- sharp knives and brand new cookware without the scratches you often find in a rental. Tons of beach stuff--snorkel gear for all sizes. Never used the AC--the breeze was all we needed. Great water pressure, comfy bed; 2 bathrooms was a plus. Excellent communication with the owners. Highly recommend.

Simply Paradise
An amazing place to stay if you’re going to Kaua’i! Collin & Kevin provide great details for your trip so you arrive prepared and ready to relax. Watching the ocean while you have breakfast on the lenai is the best way to start the day. Everything was clean and ready for us. The condo has a lot of space so you feel like you’re in a house rather than apartment. At the end of the day, you can walk over to the sea wall and watch the sunsets, just steps away from the apartment. Seeing the other busy resorts, you’ll appreciate going back to a quiet condo. Really great place to stay

Quiet, comfortable, and clean condo
We enjoyed our stay at Poipu Kapili and found the condo to be “just as advertised”! Great access to beach, restaurants and shops while still being very quiet and calm. Nice pool and ocean views, we’ll stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Perfect for a couple!

Beautiful condo and perfect location
My husband and I stayed in this condo for 10 days, and it is a wonderful condo! The furnishings and decor are beautiful, the kitchen is well stocked, and the lanai is a perfect location to look out over the lovely grounds as well as watch the ocean. The bed was very comfortable, as well as the living room furniture. The closet on the lanai was well stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers, snorkel equipment, umbrellas, and a wagon to put things in to go to the beach. We loved the walking path that goes by the Sheraton to Kiahuna Beach., and it is simply a walk across the street to that path. The swimming pool was a great place to hang out, and the grounds were perfectly manicured. Having 2 bathrooms was a plus as well as the elevator. We highly recommend staying at this condo, and we look forward to returning and renting from Kevin and Collin next time we return. They were great hosts with good communication.

Lovely Kauai location
This property is located looking out at the ocean offering fantastic sunset views. Double bathrooms are a plus. Elevator access makes lugging baggage much easier. Only wish there was air conditioning in the whole apartment. The main living area got very warm in the afternoon and into the evening.

Nice unit, tired interiors
The unit is in a good location, but it is tired, and - from a 'sharing' perspective - 2 key parts make it appear unclean. First, the bedding was a mess - worn brown sheets, sloppy foam topping, thin, worn towels make judging cleanliness difficult. Crisp white sheets and towels and a firm bed are a mark of cleanlyness. With that beginning, impression, it is easy to suspect other items might not be as clean as is expected - like the carpet. We stayed in 2 units Kapili 46 (This review) and 30. Though 46 was more expensive -30 is professionally managed, spotlessly clean, white linens, with no carpet, and - less expensive. I think this owner would be wise to switch to a professional - like Suite Paradise or Parrish.

Nice place, good views
Overall was pleased with the property. Positives were the views, spacious rooms and the gear included. Negatives were a cockroach that we killed, the laundry is not in the condo, but there were pay facilities on the premises (also did not work the greatest), and the shower dispenser in the master fell off the wall early in our week.

Great condo!
Overall great spot. We stayed for 6 nights in November. The condo is very spacious and is a 5-10 min walk to Kiahuna Beach. It has a nice ocean view and they provide beach supplies, including a wagon, which was a huge perk for us. I can’t comment on the pool, tennis courts, other amenities etc because our main focus was going to the beach. The bedroom AC is a nice feature because even with the breeze and the ceiling fan it can get a little stuffy at night. The condo complex is quiet (in a good way). Kitchen has the basics and we had 1-2 meals/day at the condo which is good for the wallet and the waistline. Communication with owner/manager was smooth. Only downsides - the bedroom and its bathroom are a little dark and dated; also the carpeting in the living room isn't ideal in a beach environment, as you need to walk through there to get to the beach supplies. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. Mahalo!

Wonderful condo for enjoying south shore. Amazing ocean view, nice and shady all morning. Incredible breeze through bedroom, huge spacious living area. Pool was clean, fun, and lovely for all ages. Easy shady parking area very close to the unit. Our only complaint was that the unit lacked some basics…would have been nice to have more dish towels, paper towels, foil, etc.
