Overall a nice stay!
We have stayed at many units in the Kiahuna plantation, and it’s our favorite place to be in Kauai. The grounds are beautiful, walking distance to our favorite beaches, and the Poipu beach athletic club is great for the kids. This condo was nice and clean, not super updated but this doesn’t really matter to us. It is far in the back of the complex, so a longer walk to the beach than the others we have stayed at. Overall, we still had a lovely stay!

The unit is pretty dated, and doesnt have AC. So on the days when it's humid, if you're not use to a humid environment, it will be pretty uncomfortable to stay and sleep in. With that said, it was quite and had a gorgeous view. Parking was another thing that was an inconvenience. Not enough spaces for each unit, so each night it was a gamble if we could find a spot or not and if we would fit. We had a mid size suv and barely fit in the spots.

The blankets that were given smelt like urine and when we stripped the sheets off of the bed the bed was covered in pee stains. The location did not properly represent where the condo was located on site and we had to walk pretty far to the beach compared to what it had shown.

Pictures dint fully show problems with cobdo
There was a foul pervasive odor in the condo. Maybe urine? It was a problem. Bathroom sorely in need of updating. Tub stained, rusty tracks for shower door, toilet so low to ground hard for full grown person to use comfortably. Towel situation very inconvenient. Have to ask by certain day or you don’t get replacements. Needed tissues, storage baggies would be nice. Also, trash and recycling bins had very foul smell that wafted to our front of condo. Last, the remote control for the fan in LR and BR worked for both rooms. So if fan on in LR it was on in BR. Very annoying. Would not stay here again

Wonderful!
We had a wonderful stay at the property. It is well equipped with the essentials and the extras, such as coolers and beach chairs, were a bonus! The shower needs a bit of updating, but was clean and functional. The bed is soooooo comfortable! We will be back!

This condo was great! First, it’s in building 42, this will come in handy when trying to locate it. It’s within walking distance to several eateries, coffee!, local shows, and the shuttle stop. The shuttle was also great for getting to Old Koloa Town where there’s a grocery store and more local shops. This condo is also within walking distance to three beaches. Shop to your hearts content, eat whatever, and walk it all off. Wonderful trip, highly recommend!

Anniversary trip
This was our 9th anniversary. I own a vacation rental in NW Montana so I am reviewing this property based on my expectation. First - it was very clean. The beach accessories were great! The bedroom was nice and the bed comfortable. The living room and dining room were also comfortable. During the day, the patio was ok however, the light at night was a white light wall and zero ambience so we did not use it at night. The service area for a big hotel is also directly across from the patio and through the hedge. We heard lots of noise including beeping from service vehicles -- not very relaxing. The bathroom was extremely dated and dingy. The faucet for the shower spun without stopping so finding warm water was difficult. The shower needs updating desperately as it looked dirty due to old age. We did not receive any directions to the condo and had to ask other people were to find the building. The specific directions after turning on the property as to the location could have easily been given by Vacasa in the text. The biggest disappointment-- this is NOT a beach access condo. You have to walk well over 1/2 mile on streets and paths to get to the beach which is downhill. NOT easy with beach bags, chairs, cooler and in flip flops. Worse is the walk back up to the condo as it is a significant hill. Thankfully, we had a car and drove to the public beach every day to save our backs. Most likely will not stay here again.

Peaceful stay
Great location, quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Very clean. Great kitchen and cooking tools although I didn't use much. Downside: They change towels only on Wednesday and Thursday if you're staying for five nights or longer, and you have to call the day before. I got only four for seven nights.

Had a blast!
Everything went smoothly from booking to check out. Had one problem with the bedroom fan that was dealt with immediately. Periodic check-ins by Vacasa to make sure we were happy. Loved the Poipu Beach Club across the street. I’m writing this review poolside as we are here on the Departure Pass since our flight back to Alaska isn’t until late tonight. Perfect way to spend our last day.

Nice Poipu Location
First off-great location in Poipu area. Comfortable bed, nice decor/vibe-yes that matters! Check in at 4pm and key is ready at another location not too far away and is there at 4, not earlier- just for your planning. Pool, gym and the Cabana restaurant are across the road, up a pathway. Nice facilities and really good casual restaurant with good priced drinks. Laundry facility on grounds is convenient. Condo grounds/ beach area are very nice. Cons- the bathroom is in dire need of upgrades but that is not uncommon for Hawaiian vacation rentals. I can put up with most anything for a week. We looked up booking for next year similar time and noticed the rates have almost doubled!! We booked elsewhere for next year. Favorite restaurants-Red Salt-$$$$ Keokis across street and all the food trucks we visited were great .

Get away and relax
Pretty nice spot. This is located in building 41 which is on the east end of the Kihuna Plantation. I short walk to Poipu Beach with beach towels provided by the property managers. I short walk to Brenikies beach and restaurant. A short walk to the shops and restaurants at Poipu. The condo was nice and comfortable. The only complaint is the just on the other side of the lanai is the parking lot to the Marriott which when hot you can hear the AC running. Other than that, the spot is great. Kitchen has everything you need. They provide beach chairs and umbrellas stowed on site.

Wonderful Getaway
We had a wonderful stay at Amy’s place! It’s a close distance to the beach (less than a 10 minute walk) and we loved the serenity of the garden view off the lanai. The condo was well appointed and comfortable! Access to amenities was great as well (the pool and the gym are a quick walk away) - and definitely make sure you to go Little Fish for breakfast/coffee everyday!!!

Value Accommodations
The price was right...very reasonable rates, addition of car rental, and excellent service from property mgt made up for downsides of the property. Liked having the lanai although the picture is just at the right angle to not show the parking lot nearby. Property was well furnished, clean, and stocked. Bed was comfy. Location is "far" from the beach. Having gone for business, I ended up not having enough time to make the trek to the beach....so my feet never touched the sand while I was there. Next time I will stay closer to I can more quickly pop on/off the beach in between business events. Same comment for the pool. My biggest issue is that the condo needs new windows/screens. Both bugs and noise were a problem because of this. Maintenance came promptly but it didn't really fix the problem of lots of gnats finding their way into the room.
