“We truly enjoyed our stay at the Catch. Stephen is a terrific host and a really nice guy. Both the views from the house and location are fantastic to see and fully immerse yourself in the beauty of Kodiak Island. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that it was difficult for me to figure out how to unlock the door after entering the code. Thankfully i had someone in my group who could and Kodiak is safe enough that we left the door unlocked most of the time we were there ”

“The house was very nicely finished and the location was amazing! Our host was very accommodating when we got in a bind with a cancelled flight. We were in Kodiak on business so we didn't have much time to explore but would love to come back and stay here again and take a fishing trip and sightseeing tour with Rick and Hope!”

“The host was very accomodating and responsive. The house has a nice arctic entry for storing gear. 2 refrigerators, and a chest freezer. Plenty of space to store food. Smart TVs in every room. And comfortable beds. Very much recommend”

“Beautiful place to stay! Right on the main channel into Kodiak harbor. The kids watched boats and sea planes for a long time. The house is very nice inside too. Great fluffy carpet. Very clean. We used 5 bedrooms for our 3 generation stay.”

“Another beautiful property with views and easy access to float plane launch, stores (Safeway & Walmart), and "downtown" which on Kodiak Island is very quaint House is about one mile from harbor, where there is a minimal, brewery, Nuniaq (breakfast/lunch), Henry's, Aquamarine restaurant (side-by-side), bank, info center, all near harbor and easy walking distance. “Well, I almost dont want to do a great review to keep the GEM of a house off the radar. The only thing this house lack is Reviews! Best stocked kitchen ever, every spice, cooking and baking gadget you can image...mixers, blenders etc. I used to run 5 of these and this place rivalled my best home for kitchen items. “The home is perfect fort family and friends. Clean and comfortable. It is in a quit location . The Host is great! The Island is beautiful and has plenty to see and do. I will be back for a longer stay next year. very friendly community. Just remember the speed limit is 20 mph in town.”
