“We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together”

“We loved our stay at mallard Lodge and would definitely recommend. The weather was awful but expected in January but it didn't stop the kids fun. Lots of places to see. Great walks. Was wonderful to return to a warm, cosy lodge and a relaxing dip in the hot tub. Not fantastic TV reception or WiFi but we were there to escape all that. Anything we needed help with, selina was only a call away. We are looking forward to visiting again. X”

“We all had the most wonderful New Year stay at Curlew Lodge, it was spotless with some lovely personal touches such as fresh bread, eggs, butter & a chocolate cake that was delicious! The garden & views were lovely. The weather was terrible for most of our stay so didn’t manage to explore as much as we’d have have liked. The local village was a 25 min walk, we enjoyed a few visits to the Kings Head which was lovely with good food & atmosphere. We look forward to going back again. The only...

“Every detail spot on. Beautiful furnishings, cosy environment with quality bedding, comfy beds and fluffy towels. Hot tub was amazing with great views. Home made cake and loaf with eggs and all essentials to get you started. Well equipped kitchen, fab showers and toiletries. Can’t fault in any way. Coming back soon.”
