Great place for Family Trip
Overall terrific place. Location on the lake is beautiful. House was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Spacious living room and kitchen well stocked with gear. The (recently completed) downstairs really added a lot with some more play space and a full second bath, plus an external monitor plus printer setup the ended up being very useful. Setup worked well with our two year old as there was not much breakable stuff to be worried about and the door to the basement stairs could be locked

Such a peaceful place!
My best friend and I stayed here for several days at the end of this summer. The property is breathtaking and communication was a breeze! The house is large and well laid out. The kitchen had all the tools we needed to make meals at home. There were multiple boats and fishing rods to use and all kinds of games and seating to enjoy each area. Waking up to the sounds of nature and fog on the lake was exactly what we needed. Perfect spot to unplug! Highly recommend and would love to stay again in the future!

Peaceful weekend getaway
What a wonderful weekend we had at this beautiful home. The house was nice and clean and had more than enough to make us feel comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen, tons of blankets, towels, games and books for everyone. We enjoyed the fire pit and dinner on the grill. Our son had plenty to do on the swing set and watching the chipmunks by the little waterfall next to the house. The pond was extremely peaceful even with some rain. Since there was some ice we were unable to use the boats but we hope to be back in the warmer months!! I want this home to remain a secret!! Highly recommend!! Thank you Rebecca! :)

Fall Getaway
Our family wanted to take a little getaway since there was no school due to teacher inservices on 11/8 - 11/10. Perfect time to reunite with other family. It was a perfect lake retreat with boating & fishing on site. The home was beautiful and provided plenty of room for our family of eight. Many amenities provided (linens, towels, kitchen supplies, WiFi, board/card games, NetFli, etc). Instructions and information provided prior to stay and a binder with same and also local interests easily accessible on site. The weather was getting much cooler during our time there so was not able to spend as much time outside as we wanted. We are looking forward to booking again when the weather is warmer in Spring or Summer.

Another wonderful Fall vacation.
This is the second time we stayed at the Legacy Lake House. Everything was as perfect as the first time. The house is clean and filled with all the amenities one needs, property is large and private, and the deck is gorgeous. We enjoyed fishing every day on the boat and I managed to catch a 5lb 13oz bass! On the colder nights, the fireplace was perfect while watching tv and relaxing. We also took advantage of the fire pit all while enjoying the beauty of the lake and the stars. We will definitely be back again. This time we may try the Spring season. Rebecca made sure to communicate all pertinent information and was always a message/phone call away if we had any questions. The Legacy Lake House will not disappoint!

PERFECTION
The moment I saw the pics of Legacy Lake House I thought, "this is where I want to be", and my search for a quiet vacation spot ended. My instincts were spot on. We had an amazing time. Our goal was to leave the world behind and stop adulting for a few days. We aced it! What an amazing place to be! The house was clean and fully stocked with necessities. As a person whe loves to cook, I was actually impressed with the quality of the pans. Silly, I know, sometimes it's the little things. Rebecca is the perfect host. Always there and never there. Quick to respond when needed. The labels, instructions around the house, and the informational binder are helpful as well. THANK YOU

Beautiful house and scenery
Our stay was very relaxing and peaceful even though there are neighbors on the left and right of the house and around the lake it was very quite. We're looking forward to renting the house again in the near future. Rebecca the hoist was very helpful and responsive to any of my question.

Beautiful property to get away from it all.
What a great experience at this lakehouse. The house had everything we needed and then some. The fall landscape was breathtaking and we had so much fun fishing. We spent the majority of the time out on the lake and drove up to a couple local places for food and drinks. Highly recommended esp if you are looking for a relaxing lakefront home to take you away from the hustle and bustle of every day life.

Beautiful Fall View
Very clean and well stocked with all necessary personal and cooking needs. Lots of water toys available with new electric motor and battery. Nice fire pit with wood though we brought our own wood. Beds in the 3 bedrooms were excellent. We did not find the basement very appealing to spend time in, though there is a nice full bathroom in the basement. Very quiet area and neighbors are very friendly. We fishing every day and caught fish each day. Largemouth bass (4 lbs biggest) yellow perch, pickerel, crappie, sunfish. Recommend ultra light tackle. Always a quick response from Rebecca.

Relaxing fun for all
Great for the price. Quiet smaller lake. Great for paddle boating or kayaking with small kids (plenty of life jackets provided) or putting around in the trolling boat that has an electric motor (new batteries probably needed for next season). Well stocked kitchen. Host communicates really well. We took a trip to the Electric City Aquarium in Scranton on the rainy day and it was just right for our 7 and 9 year old grandsons. We had a wonderful relaxing time together with our family.

Perfect/quite
Me and my fiancé love going to lake houses every year. We never return to the same one twice, but we may be changing that. This place was adorable and fixed up. Fishing on the boat and deck was awesome!! The fire pit is on a slope, so camping chairs weren’t comfortable. But they have outside chairs that work perfect. They had other things to go on the water and everything was definitely used! Best experience ever! There wasn’t even that many steps to get to the dock lol

Great Quiet Getaway
After the past few years, our family needed a relaxing getaway. We got exactly that with the property. Huge deck that allowed us to stretch out and unwind. We took the fishing boat out each day, and the kayaks were also used. Only issues were minor or outside of the control of the property, such as the water being so murky even my 9 year old son didn't want to swim in it. Otherwise, the place was exactly what we were looking for.

Great house on the lake
My family and I enjoyed our time at the Lake House. The property is exactly as described and I was impressed with the extras that were there if you forgot something. We loved the screened in porch and spent a lot of time there. It was extremely hot the week we were there but we still managed to catch some bass, perch, crappies and blue gills from the boats. The lake is not extremely large and as we were mainly fishing, we spent most of our time in the no wake zone. No luck on the dock but we did see “Phil” the beaver on a nightly basis. Plus we saw some deer, fox and a skunk. The steps are exactly as shown but sitting up higher provides a great view and the neighbors are spread out from you. The dishes, cookware and silverware are all in great shape! The house was very clean!! The host was wonderful as I accidentally left my kindle there and she shipped it to me. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your wonderful home!

Wonderful, Peaceful Stay
We always stay at VRBO properties and this one is a real gem. This is our first lake vacation and we had a wonderful one week stay at Legacy House. The home is very clean and the décor was very cute and functional. Rebecca has gone out of her way to make sure that her quests are comfortable and that they have everything that they need to have a wonderful vacation. All you need to bring is your groceries, clothes, and personal items. The kitchen is very well equipped. There were plenty of towels and linens. The master bed was extremely comfortable. The couches were also very comfortable which is a rarity in past VRBO rentals. It was just my husband and I but there are so many areas inside and outside the home where guests can spread out. The internet service was excellent and our phones worked just fine. The area was very quiet and felt very safe. It’s the type of place where people wave as you pass by. We fished from the dock and we caught perch, sunnies and largemouth bass that we released for future guests to enjoy. There were plenty of birds flying around and we are bird watchers so that was a big plus. There are also chipmunks scurrying around the front walls. (They like grapes. LOL) We just returned a few weeks from a VRBO in North Carolina and we did not realize that we needed a vacation from our vacation until we experienced the peace and relaxation of Legacy House. Rebecca, thank you so very much for sharing your home with us.

Wonderful!
I use VRBO alot and this was one of my top experiences! The host was so accommodating and easy to communicate with. The home was welcoming and comfortable and very clean! The fishing was great we got a bunch of sunnies and perch. Several big fat catfish and even some spotted bass. The area is nice and quiet and alot of great sunny areas to soak it all in. Will absolutely come back here!
