We rented in the area due to cost versus location. Everything we did was about an hour to 1.5hrs away, but it was gorgeous driving through hill country. This home was spacious with the exception of a couple of thing we feel were missing in the listing. 1. The lead photo makes it seem like this dock is very close to the property/off the back side of the property. It is not and we had an internet outage with not great cell reception, so we couldn't access the guide of information to locate where the dock actually was. Kelly was fast in her response though, and we took the kids to swim.2. The bathroom for the queen guest room is VERY tiny. My SIL is 5'2" and nearly hit her head sitting down on the toilet. The showers in both the master bedroom and queen guest room, have an equally small opening. Makes the house seem outdated, but alas, it worked for the short time we were staying. If you're a large individual, this may not work, but there is a tub/shower combo in the guest bath off the hall.3. The guest bathroom door is too small for the track so the lock doesn't line up and therefore couldn't lock properly. We have older kids, so they understood if the door was closed to make sure and knock. 4. The appliances were AMAZING! They were all new. I did have to throw away a half melted spatula, and the crock pot is extremely old so it didn't cook the food we were trying to cook. Other than those minor things, the kitchen is extremely spacious.Overall, We had a good stay!
