Stayed at Joe’s house with a group of friends for our annual ski trip. House is great for groups and couldn’t be closer to bars and mountain. Joe was very responsive and helpful.

Great ski house
Perfect location on the Killington access road. So close to the mountain and restaurants/bars. Plenty of room for our three families of 4. Love the huge kitchen table and ping pong table room downstairs. Highly recommended.

great base for weekend ski trip!
This home was the perfect base for our friend group's weekend ski trip. There were so many beds and enough room to lounge. The kitchen table was the perfect place to sit around and enjoy a meal together. Would love to come back!

Ski Weekend
We loved Tuck It Inn Chalet! Great set up for larger groups starting with parking, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Joe checked in with us before during and after our stay to assure all was good....and it was! Look forward to staying there again next year.

Great home for big group
Location is key for this property. It’s close to the mountain, bars, restaurants, coffee and groceries. The house comfortably sleeps a lot of people and the recently renovated kitchen was lovely and served as the natural space for us to spend most of our time. The new clean hot tub is also an added bonus. The rest of the house could use some updating, particularly the bathrooms. But again, the location of this house is key eapeciallly when traveling with big groups!

My friends and I stayed at the Tuck It Inn for our annual ski trip and it was a great house for our group. There were plenty of bathrooms/showers to accommodate and the location was perfect-- walking distance or a short drive to anything you might need. Joe and Sheri were responsive. Thanks again!

Best location off mountain in killington!
Joe's home is the perfect killington experience! Located right on the access road everything is minutes away. Whether it's the short drive to the mountain, the market around the corner or walking distance to two of the best nightlife spots, the convenience is unmatched. Joes home is clean and has plenty of room! The bedrooms and multiple bathrooms are very accommodating. The hot tub and killington memorabilia is an added benefit. Joe was a great host who is very responsive. We were grateful for the opportunity to rent his home and will hope to again in the future!

Second year staying here and our trip was even better!
Our group of 14 came back this year because we knew we'd enjoy the place again, and this year topped it. We got very lucky with the weather and it snowed the whole time, which made it so nice to be outside in the hot tub! We would definitely come back again, especially considering how close it is to everything in Killington.

Joe and Sheri were very responsive and the tuck it in chalet was beautiful. There were a ton of beds and bathrooms too. The location is right near the best local restaurants and bars and a five minute drive to Killington mountain. Thanks so much!

Know Before You Go and you'll love it
For some people, Tuck It Inn is the perfect ski chalet destination. It accommodates a large number of people with nearly every room has a full-sized bed and bunks, some do not. Many bathrooms keep everyone from getting grouchy from having to wait. Keeping the place warm is easy with ample heaters controlled in almost every room. The ping pong and dart board will keep people busy and the large eat-in-kitchen is perfect for large, raucous groups. The hot tub is fantastic, especially when it is snowing. The large TV and Xfinity cable is excellent. Back to the raucous group ... that is is clearly who has used the house the most, or at least has had the most effect on the house. It's a party house. The furniture in the living room is frayed and stained from liquids ... unsure what kind, but definitely could use a covering to solve that issue. Various throw blankets, even after we washed them were encrusted with something that wouldn't come out, but they were clean. The beds and linens are all functional and clean as are the towels. But, if you want plush towels, bring your own. I wouldn't call the house dirty or dingy, but neither would I refer to it as spotless. We re-washed many of the plates and glasses as well as utensils. Also, we picked up a small garbage bag worth of beer cans in the lawn, mostly around the hot tub. The house doesn't have any odd odors, so, it would appear there hasn't been any smoking or significant beer spillage. It's important to note that the house is very functional and for the right group. Upon arrival, I did complain about some of the above aspects and the owner, Joe was very quick to respond. When you are an absentee owner (being one myself), it's hard to know the quality of the cleaning the folks you hire are doing. I'd call it mediocre. Crumbs under the cushions for the stained couches is the first place I look to judge the cleanliness of a rental property. Joe had someone come and brought a bottle of wine. No doubt, if I were 25 and had stayed here with my dozen buds for a ski weekend, this would be a 5 star rating. But, I'm a family man, staying with another family and probably should have spent more to stay in a place that fit our needs.
