“The property is a delight. It’s cosy clean and warm. Not many places offer a view of an ancient castle. Richard shows huge interest in how guests recycle. The compost bin meant all our food waste doesn’t go to land fill. It’s our second time staying in Castle Cottage and would not hesitate to recommend this gem of a place to stay. ”

“We enjoyed our week at Cuillin View. The apartment was as described but we did not appreciate how small it was. Our daughter joined us for a few days and it was a squeeze to accommodate us all (with a dog). The dining chairs were fold up to save space but they were uncomfortable and cushions or better chairs would be an improvement. “This was our first visit to the Tower but not to Ardnamurchan. Everything about it was perfect, except that on this occasion our stay wasn’t long enough! Very welcoming owners, everything spotless and beautifully decorated, and even a sunny balcony with view to Loch Sunart over the tree tops. Loads to do in the area so the Tower is a perfect base. ”

“The Lochaline Hotel is located in the tiny village of Lochaline, which is reached by a rather long drive on a single-track road. Although remote, the hotel rewards a stay with its peacefulness. It is located right on the sound. The ferry runs frequently to Mull and no reservation is needed. Our hosts were warmly welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and had a wonderful view of the sound. The breakfast was excellent and cooked to order.”
