This house has some great features, some not-so-great features, and some serious issues with maintenance and management. First, the good news: it's a spacious house (actually two houses) with a smart floor plan. Our group of 8 adults and 2 children had no trouble fitting in, and the overall feel was great. The location is fantastic if you are looking for easy access to a quiet beach. The beach is literally across the street and down a short path, and Anini Beach is a perfect beach for small children and swimmers, protected as it is by an offshore reef. An absolutely beautiful spot.
The main downside of the house is that the main living / dining / kitchen area, and the primary bedroom, are both very warm in the afternoon and evening. My wife and I almost gave up the big bedroom for a small one just because it was so hot in our bedroom. In the end, we didn't, but we regret it. There were plenty of fans, and we had them all running, but it got very hot. Other issues with the house: absolutely no storage space for food (we ended up piling groceries in the laundry room). And, important to know: no spices, oils, or anything like that that we usually expect to find in a well-stocked kitchen. This meant we had to spend a lot more on groceries than we normally would.
The reason we would not rent this house again, however, is the quality of the management and maintenance. It was our first Vacasa rental, and though they were always polite and professional, the house was not well maint
