Great Location
The location steps from the beach had a beautiful view, however, the overall property (interior) of the villa needs a refresh. For the price of this villa my expectation was the inside would be in better shape. A paint job, updated furnishings and newer household items as small as a new shower rod, shower curtain, bedding and pots and pans would go a long way to make the inside as enjoyable as the proximity to and beautiful ocean view. Some things can not be determined in a listing. The internet can make anything look good. While I will certainly stay in this area again I would not select this particular villa on a return visit. It did not meet my expectations for the price of the stay.

The most important thing to us was being right on the ocean. The condo worked for us. However, it shows its age, especially on the deck or balcony, which needs new furniture.

Cozy spot nestled in the trees
We had the best stay here! From the views to the amazing beds, this unit did not disappoint. It was very clean and private. The trees surrounding the property gave you a feel of living in a treehouse.

Needs major updating
Enjoyed the view. But condo was not in good shape. Living room furniture is worn out. Electrical outlets in bathroom do no work. Toaster was toast(didn't work at all). Issues with the lights. Missing bulbs in the bathroom. Hair dryer came from a old hotel. Pans put back in oven dirty. Owners need to come and stay and see what they can do the correct some of these issues.

Wonderful location with beautiful view of the ocean!
Wonderful stay for our girls weekend! Villa was beautiful and was just the right size! Vacasa left a nice welcoming package for us that made us feel special! The accommodations were perfect! Only thing that could use some improvement was the living room seating which was worn and could of had been better otherwise it was great. We would stay there again in the future.

The property is right on the beach. We loved the view. The furnishings are outdated. I loved all the extra blankets. The kitchen lacked enough wine glasses. Overall it was a good stay, however i would not recommend this particular unit in the future!!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. We've been to Kiawah several time, but this was the first time we stayed directly on the beach. Really enjoyed the view! The condo was clean, and well supplied. It appears to be an older unit, and you can see evidence of wear and tear. Nothing major, minor aesthetics. I would not classify this as luxury accommodations, but if you are looking for a moderately priced beach unit this is a good option. Hope this is helpful.

Aging, maybe gracefully, maybe not
Getting old stinks ! Worn furniture. Old appliances that were low quality when they were young. Mostly well supplied. Mostly clean ( one German cockroach- not a Palmetto bug). Ice maker worked 3 days out of seven. Fridge needed re booting upon arrival with 12 hours to reach proper temp. Some ? Black mold. Washer dryer gets a 6/10. Toaster 4/10. Dishwasher took 10 min to get it to start as we were leaving. Great location. Good layout of condo. Bed was ok. Bedroom lamp missing turn on knob. Get the trend ? Very nice condo that need maintenance, badly !

Great views. Property could use some TLC. Smoke detector went off at 2AM due to battery needing replaced. Water/ice dispenser not functional. Good assortment of kitchen supplies/utensils. Easy check in and out. Great location.

Great location & Vacasa was great!
First off, we saw so many varying reviews about using Vacasa but they were amazing! Unit was clean, plenty of toiletries, stuff for kitchen available. Beautiful porch to the ocean. We will definitely stay with Vacasa again. As for the actual unit- owners really need to update it. Furniture was ok but one chair had marker stains from a kid on them, almost every photo was a grey tone from sunlight damage, master bed kept trying to eat our pillows, and the toilets really need fixed/replaced. The master bathroom toilet made this god awful screeching sound when it flushed. So it woke us up each time it was used. We will definitely stay with Vacasa again in the future just doubtful we will stay in this unit again. Definitely “owner property” issues, not Vacasa issues.

4309 Windswept Kiwah
This villa was not what we expected from Kiawah. It is very dated, especially the living room and balcony furniture. We were disappointed at first but we soon adjusted and did enjoy the week and the spectacular view. Later in the week ants appeared throughout.
