"Villa Floral" es una propiedad privada ubicada en un pequeño e idílico pueblo en el norte de la isla de Kefalonia, a unos 10 minutos en coche del famoso puerto de yates y veleros Fiscardo ya 90 minutos del aeropuerto de las islas. Las dos casas tradicionales de piedra con persianas de color azul cielo y la increíble vista sobre Ithaki, la isla de Odiseo, están rodeadas de olivares, almendros y flores.
La playa de cipreses "Foki" con el típico agua de color verde esmeralda se encuentra a pocos minutos en automóvil de la propiedad. Tranquilas playas de arena, la playa "Myrtos", también conocida por la película "Correlis 'mandolin" y la península Assos, están a 30 minutos de acceso.
Villa: Dos casas de piedra, renovadas en 2016 con materiales naturales, con terrazas privadas y una piscina compartida entre las propiedades, proporcionan un alto nivel de alojamiento con cocina para 4-8 personas. El diseño interior lleno de encanto rústico combina confort y tradición con muebles contemporáneos y antiguos de madera, paredes de piedra y habitaciones con marcos de madera. La cámara baja tiene un balcón, la casa alta tiene una nueva terraza adicional con vista directa al mar. Cada casa tiene 75 metros cuadrados divididos en dos plantas, con una sala de estar-comedor en la planta baja que incluye todas las comodidades necesarias. Se accede a una habitación doble, una habitación doble y un baño con ducha por una empinada escalera.
Las casas se encuentran en un jardín con impresionantes vistas hacia Ithaki y Evreti Bay para disfrutar de la romántica puesta de sol y garantizar una estancia tranquila y relajante.
Las villas se alquilan por separado.

Catering: Self catering. Los huéspedes son recibidos por el administrador de la propiedad de la Villa Floral y recibirán apoyo durante toda la estadía. Después de 10 minutos a pie, se puede acceder a tiendas de comestibles y tabernas. En el puerto de Fiscardo, "Tassia" e "Irida" son conocidos por su cocina tradicional kefalonia.

A beautiful tranquil haven
The property has so much charm and the uninterrupted views are spectacular. Fiskardo town is 5ish mins by car and still bears the legacy of the Venetian architecture. The food is high quality too. A car is an absolute must. We hope to return one day. Thank you to the team for helping.

Lovely villa with a stunning view.
Villa Floral has everything you need, but for us the outside area was what made it the best overseas holiday we’ve had in a while. The view from the pool area is stunning and the pool was a much needed respite from the scorching sun. Plenty of space and sun beds with the use of a bbq. We stayed in the lower villa and my sister and family stayed in the upper villa. We wouldn’t have wanted to be there with strangers as you are literally sharing the outside area, but some may be fine with that. We would definitely come back, we loved our time here.

Super property
This is a really pretty property- well equipped and a lovely pool with a view! The rooms are spotless & feel like authentic Greece! Great aircon & plenty of attractive outside space. Two spacious bedrooms & a well appointed kitchen. Very comfortable stay. But - the property is hard to find and the final 200m of access road is very rough, not tarmaced and very steep. Not for nervous drivers! And the access path is also very rocky for a short spell although the rest of the path is fine.As per the listing- the property is not suitable for older people or younger children. The management company are very friendly and efficient and the owner is very helpful!

The location is beautiful, the villa is atmospheric, authentic and comfortable with amazing views.
Great villa, really lovely stay and close to restaurants and bays if you have a car. Super fabulous to enjoy the pool with the view. You need to be ok with sharing the space with whoever is renting the second villa in the Propery. Ideally, you can hire both villas with friends. The property managers were incredibly responsive. It would have been helpful if some basic supplies like salt, pepper, sugar, oil and vinegar were provided as we found with the other villas we stayed on the island.

Beautiful property in peaceful location
We had a lovely stay at the property, waking up to the sound of goats bells and a beautiful view every morning was just idyllic. Villa was lovely and traditional, lots of different areas to relax in, the pool was kept clean and Raphaela was really helpful. Due to the location a car was needed but we also walked into Fiskardo in 45 minutes passing beautiful Foki beach and lovely sea views along the way. Lots of nice trips to be had and would thoroughly recommend renting a small boat and exploring the stunning coastline. Would love to come back.

The Villa was in a great location with the most incredible view which was beautiful to wake up to every morning. Pool was fabulous and the children were barely out of it. We had a wonderful two week stay and really relaxed.

Just perfect!
Villa Floral is simply perfect for a relaxing break in Kefalonia. The property is fantastic with stunning views to Ithaca, a beach (Foki beach) and taverna a short walk away and Fiskardo just a little further on with numerous great restaurants overlooking the harbour. Just perfect!

Fabulous location and lovely traditional style villa
Thank you for a wonderful holiday. This traditional villa and it's setting is truly idyllic. Amazing view and so very peaceful with butterflies galore and the sound of goat bells. Villa is basic but has all you need. We were unlucky with neighbouring villa (not connected) as the holiday makers were really raucous with loud music, tv and karaoke but that is so out of character for the area it was just bad luck! The property management company seemed very helpful when they popped by but we didn't have cause to contact them during our stay. Local town Manganos had lovely tavernas with delicious food, friendly owners and waiting staff. Fiskardo a 5 minute drive with a lovely little beach and taverna en route at Foki. Loads to see and do - you can only scratch the surface in a week!

Tranquility wrapped in blue!
What can I say? The stay was absolutely wonderful and the view was just breathtaking. The house was gorgeous and it was fantastic to have a swimming pool. The location just outside fiskardo was brilliant and en route there is a fantastic little beach and a Taverna where we spent most days. The sea was absolutely crystal clear and unlike many other islands you could actually see fish in the water. Would highly recommend and will be back. The owner couldn’t have done enough. One of the bushes in the garden had grown quite significantly and was obscuring the view from the breakfast table. Within an hour of me texting her to let her know so she could tell the gardener the next time he/she was there, he was there chopping it back down to size.

A Slice of Heaven
We stayed for 9 nights this September. As soon as we walked down the steps and saw the villas and the view we were hooked! If you want to relax, unwind and read this is the place for you. The only slightly negative comment was the wasps. Try burning a little Greek coffee, it helps keep them away! We will be returning without a doubt.

Atemberaubende Natur und echte Stille
Die Steinvilla wurde liebevoll mit Naturmaterialien und antiken Möbeln renoviert. Wir lieben diesen rustikalen Stil. Auch die Ausstattung hat uns nichts vermissen lassen. Sehr hilfreich fanden wir das "Hausbuch", in dem viele wichtigen Informationen über Haus und Umgebung zu finden waren. Besonders schön jedoch ist die Lage in einem Seiten Tal oberhalb von dem malerischen Städtchen Fiscardo und gleich in der Nähe des zauberhaften Foki-Strandes. Alles Wald und absolute Stille - ich kann mich nicht erinnern, wann ich das letzte Mal solch eine Stille erlebt habe. Fast zu jeder Tageszeit. Bei der Außengestaltung wurde darauf geachtet, dass es viele verschiedene Terrassen und Sitzecken gibt, sodass man sich auch von den anderen Gäste (das Anwesen und auch der Pool sind für zwei Gästeparteien vorgesehen) zurückziehen kann. Der Blick ist von überall traumhaft: Meer, Wald und gegenüber die Insel Ithaka. Besonders schön ist der Blick vom Schlafzimmerbalkon der "unteren" (meerzugewandten) Wohnung und auch die Terrasse darunter mit dem alten Mandelbaum. Wirklich sehr empfehlenswert für Menschen , die Natur und Ruhe suchen. Einziger Nachteil: Ein Zimmer hat bislang keine Klimaanlage.

Traumurlaub mit kleinen Mängeln
Das Haus mit dem schönen Pool, dem gepflegten Blumen-/Lavendelgarten (viele Schmetterlinge, Hummeln, leider auch Wespen) und dem phantastischen Blick auf die Küste, das Meer und Ithaka ist einfach traumhaft schön. Die dicken Mauern schützen vor zu großer Hitze, auch die Klimaanlage funktioniert gut. Alles ist sehr sauber. Die Kommunikation mit Monika hat gut funktioniert, auch wenn die Anhänge mit der Wegbeschreibung leider zu spät ankamen, was wohl auch der kurzfristigen Buchung geschuldet war. Obwohl Matsoukata relativ groß ist, gibt es hier weder einen Supermarkt noch ein Restaurant, so dass man mit dem Auto nach Maganos (ca. 3 min) oder nach Fiskardo (ca. 7 min plus Fußweg) fahren muss. Leider ist der Weg zum Haus so schmal, dass es fast unmöglich ist, mit 2 Autos nebeneinander zu parken und man sich mit den Bewohnern des anderen Hauses verständigen sollte. Der Geschirrspüler war die gesamte Woche defekt, der Kühlschrank sehr klein und nur mit einem nicht funktionierenden 1-Stern-Gefrierfach ausgerüstet. Für große Menschen sind die Betten leider nicht geeignet, 140 x 190 bzw. 90 x 180 im kleinen Schlafzimmer, in dem es nur einen Ventilator gibt. Trotz der kleinen Mängel haben wir uns super erholt und mit der Hauskatze Ginger angefreundet. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

We have just returned from a wonderful week in this very special villa. It is in the most tranquil spot in a very unspoilt and natural corner of this beautiful island. We watched the sunrise over Ithaca whilst eating breakfast on the terrace. The only sounds you can hear are the birdsong, the gentle buzzing of insects and the soothing tinkling of goat bells in the distance. It is truly idyllic. We had three visits from IPS during our stay which meant that we were spoilt for clean sheets and fresh fluffy towels. The villa itself is really lovely, simple and traditionally decorated with doors opening to three sides of the surrounding terrace gardens and a bedroom balcony with the most amazing views. We really couldn't have wished for a nicer holiday home and we were very sad to leave. Thank you Monika for sharing her treasure with us, we will definitely visit again!

There are two houses/ apartments on site so really good if you book both and ensure that the intimacy of the place is shared between your groups, otherwise it may be a bit of pot luck with who is in the other apartment. The views are stunning, the only noise is the hum of the bees and the goats' bells oh and the water plant for the pool. The place is beautiful. We had the lower apartment and so we had the lovely table out of our doors with the view of the sea and Ithaca. Nothing is too much trouble for the IPS staff, really good. The stairs are quite steep - ended up always coming down backwards so be warned if you are unsteady on your feet. We had good 4g coverage and good data packages that were transferable but the WiFi is paid for and the TV is Free to view cable but only have BBC world service in English. DVD player is good but you need to bring your own DVD's as there are none there. There is also negotiation required with IPS as washing machine is listed but is locked away in a Utility room - we did not need it in the end. It is a drive to everything; nearest shops and restaurants. We ate out at the Maikies and the Berrepa (beautiful sunset) restaurants in Vasilikiades, recommended in the book, and thought they were both fantastic.

Stunningly beautiful location
Attractive stone villa with small pool ( be careful on step ladder , slippery and wobbly ) and lovely terraces and fragrant garden full of butterflies and bees. Other not so attractive insects ( wasps nest and mosquitoes breeding sites ) were quickly and effectively dealt with by IPS management people. Very friendly staff who also tried hard to resolve issues with Internet , don’t expect great reception ! We enjoyed our holiday despite this and some dramatic night time storms. The lounge seating is not super comfortable, rather hard antique chaise longue, but we spent most time relaxing outside and garden furniture good.We were only two, four people might find lounge furniture inadequate if wanting to relax indoors. Beds however VERY comfy and fabulous balcony view , shutters help to keep room cool if closed and early morning sunrise out of sleepy eyes.Air con works well if needed. Plenty of hot water etc. IPS wine worth buying from management , white very good. As you need to drive to Fiscardo and most restaurants we chose to eat late afternoon some days so we could both enjoy a drink in the evening on the terrace with the truly fab view. Oh if British like us don’t be fooled by the description of a ’Pool Table ‘ in the listing ...this is a small table by pool not a games table sadly !! Altogether would recommend this villa if you enjoy peaceful rural tranquility, the tinkling of goat bells , buzzing of bees and flashes of blue jay wings and swallowtail butterflies, swifts , geckos , lizards etc. A delight. Thank you to all the IPS staff , lovely friendly people. Our fist visit to Kefalonia, but we hope to visit again, beautiful island. Gill and Julian , Whitstable , Kent.
