“We had an amazing time with our family at the house. We had every thing we needed plus the most fantastic ocean views! Would definitely recommend! We had 9 adults and 1 child. It's a bit of a drive to swimming beaches and one of the bedrooms is only accessed by walking through another bedroom, but we would absolutely go again. The owners were nearby and very helpful too. ”

“This property was perfect!! Close enough to everything while keeping us out of the busy tourist areas. The home was clean and cozy. Howard was away for the holiday. But, left us with contact info and a binder full of his island favorites. We particularly appreciated the instructions left by him that took us to the Puna trail, which led us to a private(ish) beach. There, we got to view the sea turtles soaking up the sun. We loved staying here, and plan on returning again in there future! Mahalo...

“The house is on a 1-acre lush property in a quiet neighborhood set one street back from the ocean. Very convenient location but one should have a vehicle as the neighborhood is enormous and 4 miles to the main road. House was as described but we didn't know up front about the downstairs situation (as Vinnie H. described in May 14, 2024 post). “We absolutely loved our stay here in Volcano. The house is a 5 minute drive to Volcano National Park. We got to view the eruption and had dinner at the volcano restaurant with beautiful views! Punalu’u, The Black Sands Beach is about a 30 minute drive and has amazing snorkeling with lots of turtles! Highly recommend staying here! Beautiful house! We will definitely return to stay here. ”
