Beautiful Hawaiian Guest House
We loved staying at Jennifer and Jeff's guest house. It was private and beautiful. Our hosts were very welcoming and responsive. The house is in a nice location to explore HVNP, Hilo, or Puna. This was a very comfortable stay for my wife and I. We would stay again. Mahalo

Piece of Paradise
The property is absolutely stunning, beautiful and private. Its location was perfect for us to explore the Hilo side of Hawaii and the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park area. We loved the peacefulness of the view from the guest house and koi pond. It was a great stay...even the coki frogs croaking at night helped make it a unique experience.

My wife and I had a wonderful time staying at the property! It's so peaceful and relaxing. The weather threw a wrinkle in our plans and Jennifer was so accommodating to changing the dates of our stay last minute. Excellent communication and a warm welcoming. Gorgeous and serene home and property
This property was amazingly beautiful and serene. The garden and patio was stunning. It was away from the bustle of the city and we loved it! The hosts were so kind and caring. Thank you for the late night medical supplies when I injured my knee.

Welcoming cottage in a beautiful setting
Jeff and Jennifer were the perfect hosts! The location was great for exploring the southern and east side of the island. The grounds were exceptionally beautiful! The house was spotless and very well stocked. We would highly recommend this VRBO!

Perfect Stay at a Beautiful Property!
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Jennifer and Jeff's property. I say perfect, because we have stayed at some other rentals in our visits to Big Island, but this one was far above the others - the guest house was perfectly appointed with everything we needed throught our stay. It made us feel right at home! We enjoyed the privacy of our own space, including the lanai, and koi pond just steps away. The property and guest house are beautiful and welcoming, truly paradise. It is also a great location, in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from both Hilo and Pahoa, the perfect home base for our adventures in Puna. If you happen to stay on a Sunday, the Maku'u farmers market is less than 10 minutes down the road, a must for stocking up on local produce and gifts. Thanks again for having us, and we hope to stay again on our next trip to Hawaii! Mahalo!

Heaven on Earth!
This little studio house was perfect for us! It is clean and beautifully decorated. The grounds are amazing and fun to explore. We loved sitting by the koi pond and listening to the waterfall and the frogs. The hosts were quick to answer any text. It was everything we had hoped and more!!!

Truly a beautiful place. A Must stay Island paradise. Every attention to detail made the stay enjoyable. Great library if you want to relax and read. Hosts are respectful of our privacy yet respond to questions about the property or local activities. Central location between Hilo and volcano. We came to visit family that live a few blocks away. Will definitely stay again.

Absolutely stunning! The house and grounds are gorgeous. The hosts attention to detail is second to none. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. It was plenty of space for our family of 3. The host was welcoming but not intrusive. It felt like our own little corner of paradise!

A perfect tropical getaway!
Our stay was absolutely everything we wanted! The cottage has every amenity one could want/need! The location was centrally located to sights we wanted to visit on that side of the island. Relaxing stay- perfect for 2!
Amazing hospitality and lovely accommodations. The grounds are so relaxing. About a 2 hour drive for big activities on the Kona side, but we got to explore the whole island and thought it was worth the drive.

Amazing!
The property was much more than I expected and in a great location. From the minute we arrived, Jennifer and Jeff greeted us warmly and were helpful in every way. They gave us information on local things not to miss and about the property in general. They allowed us to walk around and look at their great gardens and spend time next to the amazing koi pond. Everything lit up at night and it was relaxing to say the least. The house was well stocked with everything you would expect plus more. Everything was clean and very welcoming after a long day of traveling. There are two restaurants and a gas station just minutes down the road from the house which is great. Highly recommend if you want a peaceful vacation in a tranquil setting. It was hard to leave.

Island paradise
Believe all the rave reviews! The property is quite simply perfect, both inside and out. Spacious, well-stocked, and tastefully decorated, the guest house includes many thoughtful touches and is absolutely immaculate. And after a busy day of sightseeing, the beautifully maintained grounds are a peaceful place to relax. Jennifer and Jeff are gracious hosts, friendly and welcoming but not at all intrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

Truly a home away from home!
This guest house really has it all! If you love the property description and the listing photos, you will love it even more when you get to see it in person. From the tasteful home decor to the comprehensive guide book, from the fresh flowers on the tables to the Koi fish in the pond, from the little welcome Hawaiian snacks to the ukulele…This home is filled with love and care. Truly feels like our own home on the Big Island. I can’t possibly list all the things we enjoyed about this place. It’s beautiful and peaceful. Spacious and squeaky clean. Well stocked with everything we could think of AND MORE! Only wish we could spend longer here and fully appreciate everything this amazing place had to offer! If we ever visit this area again, we’ll definitely stay at Jennifer and Jeff’s guest house again! Highly recommended.

Tranquil and serene setting in a beautifully landscaped property
What a lovely stay we had . The property is beautiful. It clearly shows that our hosts take time to keep the grounds so well maintained. Inside the house was spotless ! The layout was just right for us. It had everything we needed along with so many other little details that made our stay more pleasant. The swinging patio chairs, the sound of the trickling water feature ,,and well stocked kitchen and bathroom ! Overall 100%loved it

Orchid Estate property
A beautiful little guest house fully stocked, & nicely decorated, surrounded by lush green landscaping with a little koi pond. The guest house is right next to the main house, so the owners are nearby. Not so private in that way, but they are friendly & helpful. Location is a 15-20 minute drive to town. So be prepared to drive to get food & see the sights. If you are leaving from Kona airport give yourself at least 90 minutes travel time & 45-60 mins to clean up the guest house before you go. Also you have to not mind bugs because the guest house is surrounded by grassy land & lots of plants so the critters get inside the house. We only stayed two nights, but there’s a lot to see on the Hilo side of the island so we’ll have to visit again to see more of the beautiful sites!

Beautiful location, truly paradise
Amazing place to relax with the porch swings and Koi pond. We loved wandering around looking at the different plants and wildlife. Perfect place to stay for all your adventures on that side of the island.

Excellent in every way!
First and foremost, the grounds are stunning! Jennifer (host) put a lot of thought and intention in the landscaping and it shows. Wow. It was nice to just wander the property. The hosts greeted us upon our arrival and checked in on us every day with lots of useful information. The rental studio itself feels brand new. Everything in it was like new, from the towels to the dishes, even some of the furniture. It was also spotlessly clean. Even though we weren't the first people to stay here, it felt like it! There were books, games, a ukelele, and other items to entertain us while we were at the rental. But best of all was just sitting outside and enjoying the view of the grounds. The location is a little bit of a drive from both Hilo and VNP. But realistically, anywhere you stay on the Big Island, you're going to have to drive. Everything is far from everything else. So we don't count it as a minus unless you're doing multiple days at VNP or doing many activities in Hilo itself. But for a visit to the south/east side of BI, this was a perfect location and perfect studio! Thank you Jennifer and Jeff. - Johnny, Binh, Quynh

Wonderful Stay!
This property and guest house was the perfect retreat for our trip while exploring the Hilo side of the island. Everything exceeded our expectations. The house was immaculate and spacious. Jeff and Jennifer were very kind and accommodating hosts. They made sure the guest house was fully stocked with kitchen supplies, sunscreen, beach chairs and coolers, and laundry detergent. We wish we could've stayed longer!
