The resort was beautiful and the food was decent. The beach is gorgeous. When we arrived we were told they were too busy to explain the whole all-inclusive thing and to come back later. When we came back later, we were given a map and an overview and then the woman tried to coerce us into some VIP program; she was a little pushy. Otherwise, our entire stay was wonderful, the buffets had different food every night and the a la carte dinners were not bad. The bartenders were all wonderful, especially in the Kantenah hotel lobby bar. The water and ice is safe for travelers, which was good because the frozen drinks are excellent. We had a mayan suite very close to the beach and pool, it was the perfect location and a beautiful room with a patio, hammock, outdoor shower and plenty of space. The biggest drawback is the distance from the airport, over and hour and a half, but otherwise this resort is excellent.
