We were able to bring our boat and have it with us and the public launch is right across the lake. The house was tastefully decorated and the deck was very relaxing. “Perfect Up North Michigan lakefront house. Everything is thoughtfully done (dog stuff- bowls, toys and a tie out/ human stuff- coffee bar, books and hammocks, a great view) it’s a beautiful, comfortable place. All communication with Amanda was easy, timely and helpful (she helped recommend a boat rental, and eased nerves about payment). It was a fantastic experience, and look forward to booking again.”

“Spent a week at Loon Lodge for a family vacation. We had a great time kayaking, swimming, and hanging out by the water. The house had everything we needed--plenty of bath and beach towels, lots of floats and a lily pad mat, and fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. Our teens liked having their own space in the bunkhouse. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing, but close to town for necessities or a meal out. We also rented a boat and it was a very easy process. Sara was very easy to communicate...

“We had an amazing time staying at the property and can’t wait to return!! The property is beautiful, and gives off a relaxing New England feel. The owners have all the best of the things you always forget! There was chalk, toys, seasoning, tea, cold water bottles and mini chocolate (which won the toddler over instantly!!) They equipped the place with s’mores supplies to go with the fire pit. We relaxed instantly and loved every minute of our visit. ”

The proximity to the North Park is great and makes up for the lack of lake access from the property. The property owner was great to communicate with and was understanding when I had to message him we set the smoke alarm off making dinner. Overall a really great experience.”
