It is my mistake that I based my reservation of this property on the overall rating of the facility without researching the individual reviews, which were all in all accurate. The hotel is dark throughout (paint and furnishings) and sorely in need of maintenance and repairs. It could have been more thoroughly cleaned, as the t.v. and mirror were overlooked and had smudges on them. However, the beds and bathroom were clean and the water was hot, so it sufficed for a one night stay. There was a strange, intermediate noise that we could not place that was rather loud and annoying. Our room also faced the expressway so there was noise from that, but it wasn't intolerable. The clerk at check-in was not the most personable and made us feel like we were putting her out, so I refrained from asking any questions about breakfast or anything else for that matter. I will echo numerous other reviews in saying that it was mediocre at best-i.e. it could have been better, it could have been worse-but definitely NOT what you would expect from a Hilton chain.
