Also it was much more reasonably priced and the reviews of Darwin city hotels were generally pretty low whereas Rydges had rave reviews. We can see why. We have stayed in many hotels both in Oz and overseas and Rydges Palmerston was right up there with the best. Everything was spotless and each detail meticulously cared for. It’s worth visiting for the amazing indigenous artwork on all walls alone....
