Met our basic needs
I booked this accommodation for 2 of us knowing from previous posts that this is not a 2 bedroom apartment, it is 1 bedroom apartment with a bed in the living room. It’s a great size for 2 people. Walking distance (for mobile people) to turtle bay. Close to all north shore activities, it was a great base location. Check in process needs updating - we were told a code to get in the gate, however a local approached us to let us in with a fob, because we caused a traffic jam, they said the gate was changed to a fob over a month ago. The fob was in the apartment so this needs updating. There was no kettle which we thought was a staple in every accommodation. Ants in the kitchen, however we did not eat at the apartment so didn’t worry over it. There was no body wash only shampoo and conditioner. They ask for guests to take out the trash, which is fine but there was no info on where to take the trash, They also ask that you strip the beds and put bedding and towels in the washing machine, however, no washing detergent was left. It was fine for us because we didn’t spend much time in the apartment.

Beautiful Turtle Bay Area
Our group was divided in two different condos so we never needed to cook in the unit as we were together more in the larger one for gathering. We only used it for sleeping and showers. The absolute best perk of the unit is the hook-up to surf lessons on the North Shore from the owners. Best day of the trip for the teenagers in the group. Thank you so much for that amazing activity. Five star service! My only suggestion is to be more clear that it really isn't two units (there are two sleeping areas- - one in the middle of the kitchen/living room and the other a private bedroom) but for what needed it still worked really well.

Spring break at Turtle Bay
The property description, although technically correct, is very misleading. As others have stated, this was a one bedroom 1.5 bathroom single unit condo, which was renovated to add an additional exterior door and a bed was put in the living room/kitchen area. The listing makes it seem like you would be getting two traditional condos. It's in a good location on the north shore, though it’s still a ten minute walk from the Turtle Bay Hotel. And it didn’t seem to be affiliated in any way with the Hotel and their amenities. The cleanliness was just OK. Under the bed was dusty. It’s in the first floor and the upstairs condo had people who were loud and insulation between the floors was minimal (hard to control that). Pillows were a little flat/old. I had to initiate the communication with property management for arrival information. Response was prompt and sufficient.

This is not part of the turtle bay resort. The pictures are of the actual resort and this is not the apartment that was presented. There aren’t two rooms… they loot a bed in the kitchen

Great location!!
Location is great! Property is aged but still nice! The washer and dryer is a nice perk also. Communication with the owner was great. My only complaint would be the cleanliness. The walls need a good scrub and maybe some new bedsheets.

Not what was advertised
This was a one bedroom condo with a bed in the living room. The listing clearly states two full efficiency apartments. The accomodations may be fine for a family with children but not for two couples. Only two towels were available when we checked in. We called owner and were accused of being rude for calling at 8 pm. We had just gotten in as flight was delayed. One shower did not drain properly so we all used one shower.

Ad was miss leading it is a 1 bedroom 2 bath confo with a queen bed in the living dining room .
It is NOT 2 separate town homes. Luckily the weather was amazing and we only had to sleep there. Cleanliness was also questionable. Our main complaint was the lack of honesty in the ad.

Wonderful accommodations/location!
Very much enjoyed our 2-night stay here! The location was great - easy access to and wide range of dining options and lots of great beach/ areas to explore within walking distance! The condo was very homey/comfortable and the second bedroom/bathroom were perfect for our family. It had all the basic kitchen supplies and lots of extras - lovely patio, pool across parking area, beach supplies, parking right outside the unit, washer/dryer, etc. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Disappointing Start: Dirty Conditions, Slow Host Response, Unable to Stay First Night
During our stay at the property titled "Two Studios at the Turtle Bay Resort! ❤️ Price listed is for BOTH Studios," we encountered some challenges that impacted our overall experience. The property, advertised as having two studios, is, in reality, a one-bedroom condo with a queen bed in the living room. The images may be misleading, showing four different bedspreads that suggest two studios, while there are only two beds. Upon our late arrival at 10:00 PM, we found the property unprepared with dirty sheets on the floor, one bed lacking sheets, no clean towels, wet towels in the washing machine, an empty toilet paper roll, and trash in the bins. Attempts to contact the host went unanswered until 3:00 AM, causing inconvenience. Although the host offered a refund for the cleaning fee, we believe a refund for the first night is warranted as the property was not suitable for occupancy. Clear communication, accurate listings, the expectation of a clean property, and the essential need for both hosts and guests to uphold the standards expected in vacation rentals are fundamental for a positive guest experience, as outlined in VRBO's terms and conditions."

Family Good Times
Hosts were very accommodating and responsive to questions and minor fixes that arose during our stay. Kitchen needs additional glasses, plates and flatware. Having a full-size kitchen, appliances and washer/dryer was very convenient. All were clean and operational. Website presentation did not accurately represent the unit. Unit does have two separate bedrooms. It is a studio apartment (with one double bed) and a connecting lock off bedroom (with one double bed). There are two bathrooms, one in bedroom and one in hall servicing the studio apartment. Website presentation implied unit was in the Turtle Bay Resort high rise complex. It is in an adjoining townhouse complex about a 10-15 minute walk from the Turtle Bay Resort complex and beaches. I gave this unit four stars overall rather than five stars because of the ease in which the website listing can be misinterpreted.

Perfect for small family
Listing should include how many years old it is. Lots of rust throughout and on patio. Some of the outside can't be help with weather. Inside could be repainted. A/C VERY helpful as well as washer and dryer. Perfect for a couple and small child or two children. Would not rent out to two couples, too small.

I really enjoyed my stay at Vanessa’s. The pool is beautiful and North Shore favorites are close by. The property manager was amazing! She took care of any need we had. The kitchen could of been a bit more equipped.

Nice location, not really a duplex, it’s more like a studio, w/a lock off unit like a hotel room. Studio bed was in living room and to watch tv, you needed to sit on the bed, sofa faced wall. Kitchen was nice but anyone short couldn’t reach some of kitchen needs. Missing lightbulbs as previous guest noted. Limited towels and bring remote batteries.

No complaints here!
Our family really enjoyed our vacation here. The property suited our family perfectly. Unit was clean and we felt safe our entire stay. After a long day exploring the island, the beds were comfortable for a good night's sleep. AC units worked fine for us when we used them. We didn't have any issues or needs that had to be addressed with the host. Vanessa did a great job communicating check in/out process. I always received a quick response from her. We would definitely rebook with Vanessa for any future vacations to the North Shore.
