Overall Disaster
Inside house was clean, beds comfortable. The clutter and disorganization in kitchen was unbelievable. No Coffee and No coffee maker (as advertised). There was a coffee Kuerig with no coffee. The disaster was the NEGLECTED animals on the property. No fresh water, no food, chicken coop was falling apart. We filled a plastic container with water and the poor duck drank water and floated with happiness.The tortiose had no water or food, so we fed him. Then we woke up to a DEAD Chicken in the enclosure. Could not get a hold of Kyrs Cook.

Spacious For Our Large Family
We celebrated my mom’s 80th birthday. We enjoyed the amount of dinning seating and the amount of bedrooms that made our stay comfortable. The cleanliness, clutter and lack of organization of the home and the areas that surrounded the usable out door space was disappointing and didn’t reflect the photos. It did not feel like a vacation rental, it felt like I was in someone’s personal space. No effort was made to sweep or clean the decks or entrance of the home. Considering how much we paid, we felt this would have been an obvious welcoming touch. The host was very communicative and friendly. They provided wood for our very cold weekend since the central heating was not permitted.

Family Wedding
My daughter was getting married in Julian and venue was close by, location was great!! Check in seamless! The towels that were available had a mildewing smell to them, in one of the pullouts in the bedroom there were underwear shoved on the side so not sure if it had been cleaned so was not used by us, in one of the closet’s empty beer cans were stuffed in blankets so did not use, it was perceived as uncleaned, for what we payed for. The kitchen is comfortable and could accommodate us all.

Summer Stay
Overall we had a good stay. The weather was brutal and without air conditioning it made it uncomfortable at times. We enjoyed the afternoons and being able to go into town. The property is nice, just needs a little TLC.

Great areas to hang, beautiful part of CA
Overall we had a wonderful stay! The house has wonderful common areas and the porch is amazing. Some of the “beds” aren’t listed exactly as described on the listing. Some of the beds weren’t exactly what I’d describe as beds. But there’s so many rooms and couches it all worked out. The host was extremely responsive and helpful.

Best Family Reunion
This property housed my family and provided so many options of fun. We did not leave the cabin. We enjoyed it all, my kids will never forget this experience. Everyone was thanking me for booking this place, so special to us.

great group house
This was a great place to stay for a weekend getaway with a group of friends. Plenty of place to hang out and beds to sleep in. Great kitchen with everything you need. We appreciate Krys for letting us stay here.

A Beautiful Property - Inside & Out
This place rocks! Krys really has a beautiful home and you feel so cozy right when you walk in. The house is well-maintained, clean and warm. We would definitely stay again. The fresh eggs from the on-property chickens were a great touch!

Wedding weekend paradise
The ranch home getaway of our dreams! We stayed here and hosted out of town family and friends for our wedding, and it was just so lovely. The space was incredible, the sleeping comfortable, and the animals so precious. Farm fresh eggs and walks around the property, just amazing. PS excellent hide and seek spot if that’s your jam

Nice Place & Big, Good location
We were 18 guests including kids. Property is quite big and you have plenty of rooms to roam around. Kids did enjoy with livestock, outdoor games. This place is pretty nice if you have big group, you can do BBQ, play outdoor games, take a trail within property and star gazing However, some modifications are required in the property such as fixing centralized A/C, dishwasher and lock in bathrooms. There were no locks in the bathroom which was little inconvenient. Otherwise, I would love to stay again in the winter :)

Wonderful family reunion location
Our family had a fantastic time at this beautiful luxury mountain farm location in Julian. The host was wonderful and responsive, and the large home and abundant seating and eating areas made meals and activities together so much fun. We did happen to be there during a heat wave and with no central air and air conditioning room units in only 3 bedrooms made it hot at times (all bedrooms had fans), but the idyllic setting, huge, sprawling home and farm animals to delight the children made it all worthwhile. The ovens were a bit temperamental and need to be fixed, but the kitchen facilities and extra cooking tools were fantastic. The refrigerator and kitchen really are professional and HUGE and we were able to stock the kitchen with food for our large group for our entire stay without needing to go to the grocery store for extra runs. Our family has magical memories from our stay that we'll always treasure. Thank you Krys for making it possible for an incredible family reunion!

We had a large group of family and friends stay at Krys's ranch house. We had plenty of room indoors and outdoors. The kids especially loved the pigs and chickens. Thanks Krys for providing a beautiful location to celebrate my husband's retirement from the Navy!

Unique getaway location
Excellent property in a great location with some unexpected surprises. Well maintained and the amenities were as advertised. The property was bigger than I was anticipating and felt very secluded and peaceful but was still close enough to Julian for easy access. Made for a great boys weekend

Wonderful place to stay for a big family
The house is very pretty and spacious. We love the kitchen and dining area. There were five bedrooms each one with their own bathroom. There was also a rest room available near the kitchen. It is great to have two big living areas where the family can gather and bond together. We enjoyed our brief two night stay there. I wish we had time to stay longer to fully enjoy our stay. We were there for a family wedding. It was a very convenient place to stay since Pine Hill Lodge which was the wedding venue is only 4 miles away. The rest of the wedding party stayed 15 minutes to 30 minutes farther away from the wedding venue. If we ever plan a family reunion in the future, we will consider to stay here again , if available.

Wonderful farm life experience with the kids!
We had three families stay (6 adults and 4 young children) at Krys' Ranch House and it was everything we hoped for and more. The kids were absolutely mesmerized by all the animals: feeding the chickens, grabbing eggs every morning, watching the pigs and goats roam. It was great fun. The house is warm and cozy, providing the perfect respite for a friend getaway. The house is less than 10 minutes from downtown Julian where we enjoyed the Eagle Mine, breweries, great food and lots of pie. Thank you, Kris, for giving us a place to make memories for our kids that they'll never forget!

Wonderful Christmas!
The farm in Julian was a wonderful location for our family Christmas. Krys was so friendly and easy to get a hold of. Check in and out were simple. We had everything we needed and the animals were an added bonus for the kids to enjoy!

Krys was a great host! She responded very quickly, and was very accommodating to our needs/requests. Check-in instructions were super detailed and helpful. The ranch was very clean and well stocked. Great place for Families
We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again. The animals so cool and friendly. The home had everything we needed to cook (we cooked every night). The couches were comfy and there was enough room to accommodate our large multi household family. The host was very responsive and accommodating, which made the whole experience even better. Walking the property was beautiful and getting to Julian was easy! We can’t wait to visit again.
