Feeling pampered
Casa Altura and Eddie are definitely an oasis of peace. Eddie made sure EVERY detail was perfect and easy. He offered any and all assistance needed quickly and efficiently; hikes, restaurants, sights, the full package. The star gazing is prime, the hot tub perfect for the gazing and the views, location are top of the line! Thank you Eddie for such attention to detail!

Quick trip to Joshua Tree
We decided to take a quick trip to JT and really enjoyed the get away. The house is in a great location to the town and the park. The house is spotless and has all the kitchen amenities you will need. Eddie was very responsive and in fact was ahead of us with answers to our questions. Highly recommend this property. An oasis in the Joshua Tree area
The property was just perfect for our visit to Joshua Tree! We spent two glorious nights enjoying Casa Altura. The views are spectacular, and the spa was perfect for soothing our tired bones after a day of hiking. Eddie was the most responsive host I have ever had for a vacation rental. If we ever find ourselves back in this area, I will definitely be booking this home.

Excellent Place to Experience Joshua Tree National Park
We had an incredible stay during our visit to Joshua Tree National Park. We were looking for a place close to the park that offered scenic views, a hot tub, and a pool, and this property exceeded our expectations. The host was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The property was spotless, beautifully maintained, and perfect for stargazing and relaxing after a day at the park. If you’re considering booking, don’t hesitate—this place is a gem! Peaceful Getaway
Lovely stay and Eddie is a top-notch host! Pool and spa were superb! Everything is labeled and easy to find. The blinds are automatic - very nice feature. Lots of books and games available for time off the trails. The Trek deck was awesome and the motion sensor lights made going out at night easy. Beautiful views and ideal location. Very private and quiet property. We thought the beds (and the pillows) were a bit too firm and will bring pillow-top mattress covers when we return. The pull-out futon needs padding to be comfortable as well. There were flatter extra pillows available in the house which was a good thing for those of us with neck issues. There were no facial tissues and kitchen towels - not sure if that was a mistake or the usual. One pool towel and one bath towel per guest; so, you might want to pack spares. Telescope is missing the eyepiece; so, it's not really useable. There are binoculars available at the house. We brought our own but appreciated that there was a pair available.

Way beyond our expectations, best VRBO rental EVER!!!
The property was super clean, and spacious, huge picture windows with Jaw Dropping Views! Plenty of parking with an EV charger, large deck and a real stone pool (not above ground). The decor was very comfortable yet modern, super cool! The house was super high tech, yet easy to operate with the google panels in every room, the vintage high end Pioneer Stereo with Vinyls. The owner Eddie was always there for the few inquiries we had, and made us feel at home, (no crazy rules or chores). was more like a super expensive boutique hotel for a very reasonable price! Can't wait to go back!

Perfect JT Getaway – Amazing Location and Thoughtful Host!
We had an amazing quick weekend trip to explore Joshua Tree, and this house was the perfect base! The location made it easy to access the park and many other nearby trails. Eddie was fantastic - super responsive and proactive in reaching out, which made everything so seamless. His thoughtful touches, like the welcome amenity and local restaurant recommendations, really elevated our stay. We can’t wait to come back, this will definitely be our go-to spot when visiting JT!

Joshua Tree Excursion
We had an amazing stay at Casa Altura! I took my family to visit Joshua Tree National Park and Eddie's place was perfect. He's gone to great lengths to make sure that every detail is attended to for this little oasis in the desert. We are a "coffee" family and Casa Altura is well equipped with multiple ways to start your day well caffeinated. JTNP is just minutes away and we had an amazing time hiking climbing and exploring the area. You won't be disappointed with this place's outdoor amenities and its overall experience!

Beautiful home and perfect location
Casa Altura is a beautiful home. The minute you walk in you'll be amazed by the gorgeous view from the large windows. Those pink-hued sunsets light up the backyard rock formation and pool and make for excellent gazing and photos. It was so homey and comfortable I was sad I booked so many activities outside the home! That being said, Casa Altura is a close drive to many restaurants and attractions. The park is literally right down the road. Eddie is a terrific and kind host. Our only regret is not staying a full week. Next time!

Great weekend getaway in Joshua Tree
Took the wife to Casa Altura for a weekend getaway. The views from each window are amazing and we loved watching the sunrise over Coyote Canyon from the comfort of the sofa. The house was clean and comfortable and had a lot of cool touches like a record player and telescope. My dogs loved the nearby trails and I’ll bring my mountain bike the next time to ride through the desert preserve. Would highly recommend staying here for couples or families.

From start to finish a great location, well appointed home, close to park and town yet private. Host was in touch and turned up heat and jacuzzi before we arrived. Wonderful open space kitchen and view. Fun to have a turntable and tunes. Nicely set up for phone links to music and electronics. Everything well marked so no learning curve. Will recommend to friends and hope to return.

Great Staycation!

Dark Sky viewing
Group of 4 who came to Casa Altura for star viewing. Overall worked out very well. Very close (5 min drive) to Joshua Tree Natl Park, very well stocked kitchen and amazingly responsive host/management service when hot tub wouldn’t turn on. One small issue: the fridge had juice spilled in it upon our arrival.

Perfect Spot
I recently stayed at Casa Altura for two days, and it was an incredible experience. The host was extremely helpful and accommodating, and check-in was a breeze. The property itself is stunning, with spacious rooms and breathtaking views of the sunset, sunrise, and night sky. The pool and hot tub were fantastic, and nearby trails added to the adventure. The sound system is incredible and perfect for hearing your music in crystal clear quality. Stores were conveniently close by for anything we needed. I highly recommend Casa Altura for a peaceful, beautiful getaway in the desert.

My wife and I loved the home, the location, the view, the pool, spa, kitchen, and, in general, the overall vibe. Great flow for family time. The owner was very attentive, and very responsive. Best views, close to town, a stress-free stay
I had the best time staying at Casa Altura. The view was amazing. The stars were visible every night and the sun rising over the mountains was spectacular. I’m glad I chose to stay here. It was so close to town that I could pop back in to rest throughout the day. Eddie was a fantastic host, checking in periodically to make sure my trip was going well. Also, everything was labeled in the house, which was incredibly helpful. I will definitely be back.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here at Casa Altura! The home is so beautiful!! Amazing views all around the home. Nice pool & hot tub! We enjoyed watching the wildlife, the sunsets and the stars were AMAZING at night! We had everything we needed during our stay. Communication with Eddie was excellent too! We can’t wait to come back and would not stay anywhere else. Don’t hesitate to book this BEAUTIFUL home!

Very beautiful and clean
This is a great place!! Its a short 5 min drive to the Joshua Tree Park. Up the road from the main street but far away that you enjoy the quiet. The backyard is facing a nice hill where there is a lot of wildlife. You will have everything you need at the house. It comes fully stocked and you can tell they went through the effort to build on the vibe.
