“Mom in her 80's has mobility challenges and this cottage provided necessary access amenities. Tho physically motion might be difficult, her heart soared to be in this wonderful place for even a few days, the birds and deer and trees and breezes, the changing tidal views kept her entranced. Trails nearby on refuge gave me plenty of wandering time and miraculously little traffic. Hope to return sometime soon.”

Close enough to so many activities but far enough from the crowds of Bar Harbor. The house was very very clean and had everything we were looking for. We enjoyed the dock/water access as well - our kids were able to spend some time fishing and even waded in the water. “My wife, daughter and I had a restful and relaxing stay. The house has a beautiful view of Holmes Bay out the back windows.
