“We stayed for two weeks at The Bothy. We used it as a base to explore the Dales. We enjoyed seeing the local sights and villages. There are numerous sites to visit within one hour’s drive. “There are only 3 pods, which protects the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The view is exceptional and a place to truly relax. The pods offer a good standard of living space with a lovely hot shower and a really comfortable bed. The local sheep add an interesting intro to being in the countryside and lovely to watch. The pod is reached by a narrow single track road but this didn’t cause us any difficulties. The location is great for getting most places in the Dales. We will definitely be back. ”

“The hotel was lovely with a great bar and restaurant, and the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. It is situated right in the centre of Richmond with easy access to all amenities. My only complaints are that there was a lack of hotel parking, and the room needed a bit of tlc (the ceiling and carpet were worn and one of the windows was cracked and broken so you couldn't open it).”
