Wonderful family vacation
My family of four had a wonderful stay in this villa. The property was clean, and readily available when instructed it would be. Check-in and check-out were both a breeze. My only critique is the listing indicates a washer/dryer on site. The listing should specify there is coin laundry available at the Villas By the Sea, but not within the unit itself. Also, there is no coin machine available in the laundry area, so plan ahead and bring quarters if you require laundry services while staying.

Great Stay
We enjoyed the stay and would go back again. Very relaxing and easy to get to the pool and beach. We don’t like crowds and heavy commercialization so this was a great speed for us. Overall, the place seemed to be clean and in good condition. However, one of the twin beds obviously had not had fresh sheets. There was hair and nasal material left behind. Unfortunately, we arrived on Sunday and there is no one available from Parker Kaufman on Sundays and Villas By the Sea doesn’t manage this unit. I was able to track down Villas staff and they graciously provided a fresh set of sheets…not a major deal but sheets is one of THE most obvious and easiest things to ensure are clean and ready to go. It wasn’t worth making a fuss over, mistakes happen. We would go back again. We probably would consider booking directly through VBTS next time just for convenience of on-site staff should needs arise next time.

The owners clearly take a lot of pride in the property, which is well maintained and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return to the Villas by Sea.

Fantastic Stay!
This property was wonderful! We had a great time enjoying the pool and beach access. It was located close enough to walk to Driftwood Beach (gorgeous, and a MUST) and also not a far drive from shops and dining. We had a wonderful time and look forward to coming back!

Great Get-a-way with grandkids
The condo was perfect for our stay with two grandkids. Close to everything and the pool was a huge plus. The condo and complex were very clean and comfortable. Easy access to restaurants and beaches. Everyone we encountered were helpful and friendly.

Absolutely wonderful
This is the 3rd time my husband & I have stayed in a villa on Jekyll Island; this property is our favorite so far! It felt like home. Everything was perfect -- the decor, the amenities, the space. We had plenty of room to relax, & the glimpses of the ocean from both floors were a treat for me. We had an absolutely incredible vacation; staying in this villa was an integral part of that.

We loved our stay
This condo was perfect for our little family . It was less then five minutes to walk to the beach it had a nice covered sitting area on the beach with chairs so you can sit and view the ocean . The condo had two small balconies that over look the pool one is upstairs in the master bedroom the other downstairs in the living room area. The condo had plenty of space for all four of us! The beds could of been a little softer but that wasn’t deal breaker. Overall we will come back!

Perfect family get away
We joined several family members on vacation at Jekyll for the week. We were all staying at Villas. By the Seas and by far we had the best unit. Great for us to gather in and play games or share a meal. The proximity to the pool was a plus for us. The renovations look great. Only issue was lack of staff at island restaurants so we ate in all but two nights.

Joyful Jekyll
We had a wonderful time on Jekyll Island. The accommodations were excellent and the weather was perfect. We took the trolley tour and the dolphin tour. My only criticism was that the website said that there was a washer and drier with the unit which there was not.

Family Getaway
Pleasantly surprised at how clean the Villa was. It was amazingly clean and well kept (and I’m very picky about cleanliness!) Villa was perfect size for us and everything was updated. Kind of a bummer that they’re doing construction all around this building... all throughout the day you hear the beeping of big machines, hammering, etc. etc. etc. You can barely see the ocean from the balconies because of the trees, however you can hear it pretty well. The water was crashing against the rock seawall the entire time we were there so we didn’t use the beach access much... however, we just popped on our RedBug and drove down the a public beach access. The biggest thing for us was that you cannot drop the air conditioning below 70°. This was a big issue for us. Everyone in my family sleeps hot and since the bedrooms have no ceiling fans, mixed with the 70° thermostat it got HOT! We drove into Brunswick and bought portable fans for each bedroom and slept much more comfortably so... BRING YOUR OWN FAN! Overall we loved the unit and would stay here again. It was very clean, conveniently located, quiet, has a great selection of TV channels (which was awesome because we have young children who enjoy watching cartoons before bed), and the playground/pool on site were great too!
