Lake House Getaway
Deer Brook Lake House was the perfect space for our group of six. Two couples and two teenage boys had plenty of space. The lake view is beautiful and had it been warmer, we would have greatly enjoyed the patio space. On our next trip, we will definitely try to stay here again.

Very Spacious & Modern
My family of 6 enjoyed this modern home with lovely view of the lake. The home was well equipped with a large room for family gathering. Unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy the outdoor amenities this time due to the inclement weather. Definitely will stay here next time, hopefully in the Spring/ Summer.

It was a lovely home on a private slice of land on a tranquil lake. The living area was HUGE and made for a great BBQ day while watching ball games all day. Next time we will stay longer!

15 plus hairs in two beds, pet hairs throughout the house, mold in the coffee machine, dirty couch and pillows, clogged sink took off all and sent to the owner and the reply from the owner was. “I’ll have the cleaner do a walking video” “those stains probably were your guess “ hairs my cleaner said they cleaned” All doesn’t take a rocket scientist to say something shouldve been refunded. Nope! $1000 for two days not acceptable. Nice house just hire new cleaners and not make excuses for not wanting to give a portion of my money back! Never book again!

Lovely Lakehouse
Immaculate, well-appointed, comfortable lakehouse with private yard and great views. We spent much time on the covered patio overlooking the lake. Comfortable beds, large-screen TV, and everything you might need in the kitchen. Outside stairs might be a challenge for little ones and older people.

Peaceful Lakeside Getaway
Our daughter was at a basketball camp at Cedarville, and we were looking for a place in the area that we could all take time out of our normal craziness. The Lake House was peaceful, beautiful and comfortable; it was exactly what we needed. The area is quiet and the lake is beautiful. If you are looking for a place in the area (or just a Midwest getaway), I would strongly recommend the Lake House as a family getaway.

Memory Lane
Grew up skiing Shawnee Lake so Deer Brook house brought back some good memories. Convenient location with beautiful Jasper Hills golf course nearby. House is great for picnics, swimming, fishing and relaxing. Will definitely make future re.

Perfect Getaway
The house was beautiful and immaculate and stock with linens and pots and pans and utensils and anything you could need. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend it to anyone else looking for a home in the area.

Girls Weekend
The home was lovely and worked great for a girls weekend! The beds were comfortable, the quite mornings on the dock were amazing and the home had a spacious open layout. The fridge and freezer were huge which was very nice since we had most meals at the house. We did eat out once. We went to The Willow in WCH. We wouldn’t go back. There were menus for a pizza place in Jamestown on the table I. The house and hindsight that probably would’ve been the better choice. We wish we would’ve packed dishwashing tabs and brought some types of floaties to relax in the lake. We had no issues and it was a quiet and relaxing place to rent. We wish we could’ve stayed longer!

A Perfect Getaway For Relaxation
The place was described perfectly. It’s a fun getaway with your plenty of space for friends or family. Even more important is they listen to feedback. An earlier review highlighted the upstairs bedrooms run a little warmer and by the time we checked in - some fans were already in the rooms for our use. Would stay here again and again. Kitchen space is large for any cooking needs. The bedrooms are large and spacious. Plenty of space for putting your feet up, spending time by the lake, or exploring Jamestown, Xenia, and the other towns nearby.
