“We truly enjoyed our stay at Salt Box. It’s a very charming Bahamian style property and very well kept. Once we walked through the house, we were amazed by the size of backyard/pool area and pool house which has 2 very nice bedrooms and a large bath. We ate most meals out but did have an incredible evening of grilled lobsters over the open fire on the parrilla. Great place for a family vacation.”

The first one has to do with the accuracy of online listing in terms of location, it seems it is by the beach or at least at a pretty close walking distance but it is not actually like that, the second issue, which is a major one, is the problem with electric power the island suffers. “This off grid place was amazing, the ability to have a fire on the beach in the evening was spectacular. The photos matched the property as did the description. Given that it was cooler due to winter time having hot water would have made it perfect but the tenants were very clear that it wasn’t available. Honestly the people in the neighboring town were not very friendly and that was disappointing. The only significant recommendation we have for the place is to clean up the trash for appearance...
