Perfectly Sweet Beach Cottage
It was exactly what we wanted and perfect for our family of 4. We enjoyed hunting shark teeth on the beach, walking to eat at Salt Life Food Shack and shopping downtown Fernandina. Hosts were very responsive and very thoughtful with the attention to detail. We had a great stay!

Coastal Cottage 212 is so cute. As soon as you walk in, it is as if you came home. Everything and I mean everything is 5 minutes away. The beach is about 100 steps from the cottage. The cottage has everything you need. We the most relaxing weekend. Thank you Coastal Cottage. We will be back

Great stay
Property was as described. Proximity to the beach was practically ocean front. Great outdoor space for morning coffee, evening cocktails and eating. Pretty quiet neighborhood considering it's right on the main road.

We loved the look and feel of the sweet little cottage. It is a duplex so be prepared to hear your neighbors. But for the price, you really can’t beat the location.

A gem!
This adorably decorated and laid out little house was perfect for a long weekend for my husband and me and our 7 year old daughter. The location is amazing. We didn't want to leave! Super prompt communication with property management. We'd definitely stay there again!

Very good location.
We had a terrific stay at this location. It was so nice to just walk straight from the house to the beach. The outdoor shower was the best I have ever used. It was so handy to come back from the beach and have a private outdoor area to wash and change. Would stay again for sure.

We only had one issue
The first morning we were there, we heard a major screaming fight with very inappropriate language coming from the apartment next door. We are thankful that it did not continue or we would have had to leave.

Family getaway
Reading all the reviews helped us pick this spot, for a short 4 day getaway for beach time. The place was immaculate, adorable and we especially loved the outdoor private shower with hot and cold water! Bedrooms were spacious and very comfy! We had everything we could need to make our stay easy! Plenty of towels for the beach. Literally steps from the sand. We had our two little chihuahuas and we could close the doors to the bedrooms and bathroom so they didn’t get lost when we left for beach time. They could sit at the glass door and watch for us, which made them so happy. We had our dog camera plugged in and the whole living area could be seen with all the doors closed so it was easy to keep an eye on them. The beach never got crowded at this location. Public parking is next to the unit, however it only accommodates a few cars, which keeps the amount of people on the beach low. We could see the lifeguard towers further down the beach, which is where most of the people were. We enjoyed a nice dinner on the deck watching the ocean. Town was a 3 minute drive and we found the entire place dog friendly! We can’t wait to come back! We have referred this rental to everyone we know! Owners are quick to reply and assist with any questions. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Cute and convenient beach cottage with direct beach access. The side patio with table was a big plus and we were able to eat most meals outside. Also really nice to have the outdoor showers. Perhaps my only wish was a more supportive pillow as we all found them a bit flat for our needs.

Great visit
The property was clean and charming, plus you can’t beat the location. We used the kitchen and grill quite a bit and it was pretty well stocked with dishes, glasses and utensils. Could have used some more paper products ie. napkins and plastic wrap. Also more cleaning products for a longer stay or offer cleaning each week. The king size bed was very comfortable. All in all a great vacation.

Perfect for a cozy get away
We loved everything about this cottage. It was clean, cute, and cozy with ocean views from the patio and easy beach access right out the door. We also loved being within walking distance of the state park. Highly recommend this spot for a small group get away.
