Perfect Family Getaway!

My family and I spent a week at Amelia Island, and this condo was perfect! It was truly the most relaxing vacation we have ever had, and we all came home feeling rested and rejuvenated. The condo is well stocked and had everything we needed, including little things like chip clips! There were plenty of towels and washcloths, the beds were comfortable, the unit was very clean, and the A/C works very well in the unit. I have three children, ages 13, 11 and each were able to sleep in a bed, which was wonderful. The building was quiet in the evenings, and my children all slept later than they do at home. The beach was beautiful and uncrowded, and only a short 5 minute walk from the condo. We loved coming up from the beach to enjoy some pool time before heading in each afternoon, and watching the turtles cruise around the grassy area and dunes was very unique!The property is a short drive from the Omni resort restaurants and shops, and about a 20 minute drive into downtown. The drive is a small tradeoff for a very relaxing vacation! We would love to rent this unit again in the future!

Awesome week at Turtle Dunes

We just returned from a week at Turtle Dunes and had the best time. Communication with the property manager was excellent. She gave us some great suggestions for dinner. We had young and old with us and all seemed to have a great time. The condo is on the second floor right near the stairs which was very convenient coming and going. The view of the ocean was beautiful, and we saw the turtles taking an afternoon stroll most days. We are already looking forward to next June when we head back to Amelia.

Booked last minute for Memorial Day week and it exceeded our expectations. Perfect for family of 3, loved the quiet pool and easy beach access. Comfortable villa and nicely stocked kitchen. Would definitely book again

Fantastic Vacation

The condo was very well appointed with a large comfy couch. The beds were comfortable too. The kitchen had plenty of cooking utensils & an assortment of spices to use. Great view of the ocean. The grounds & pool area were extremely well kept. Easy access to the beach. We would love to visit again SOON!

family vacation

we love Amelia Island we go every summer. Love the Omni plantation Resort, Turtle Dunes very nice love how close it is to the beach. Communication with Dee the property mgr. was not good. And I think she over charged me so many extra fees Long list of things she wanted cleaned she even wanted me to wash towles. I rented 2 other units on the same floor .they did not have all these fees. They also were so sweet had a gift bag of gourmet chocolates in each unit. We needed 3 units & I wanted to be on same floor so I had no choice but to rent this one. I do love VRBO have rented through them many times, this was my first bad experience. Master bed was awful time to replace. The ad said only small dogs I met the people who rented this unit last year they had a big golden she said it slept in the twin bed in bedroom was not happy to hear that.

Beautiful oceanfront condo!

My husband and I enjoyed this condo so much! Amelia Island is so peaceful and so is this condo complex - we barely heard any other people during our stay. The pool is so lovely with waterfall features - just steps from the condo. The oceanfront views from the balcony are incredible! We will be back! Dee is a great property manager - we will rent from her on our next stay.

Beautiful location

The property was exactly like it was listed. The condo is located in the very back of the resort. The resort is large, highly recommend a golf cart to experience all the resort has to offer. The beach and pool were never crowded. The view from the condo was beautiful. Highly recommend if you are looking for a lowkey vacation rental.

Wonderful visit in June!

Amazing property, amazing views, and Dee was a perfect host! This was our second visit at the property, the last visit August 2021. The Turtle Dunes condo is great for our family of 3. The condo is clean and comfortable. We loved the new combo Keurig. The pool and beach access is very easy. The beach was not crowded when we were there and was very relaxing. Our daughter loved the beautiful pool and enjoyed playing with other children. Our vacation was great. Thank you, Dee!

Excellent rental. Property was in excellent condition and Dee was very responsive to a couple of items needed. This unit was supplied with the essentials needed for a 2 week stay with items needed for laundry, dish washing, minor other cleaning needs, etc. This was the best we have seen from any unit we have ever rented and know Dee was responsible for all of this. She is the best.

Very clean condo with great ocean view

We enjoyed our week at Turtle Dunes on Amelia Island. The view from the condo is fantastic and steps away from the beautiful uncrowded beach. We enjoyed watching the sunrise from the balcony. The condo was very clean, kitchen was very well stocked, and living room was very comfortable and homey with lots of pillows and cozy blankets. The unit had two bedrooms, but we only used the master bedroom which had a very comfortable king size bed and great views of the ocean. The condo also has new large washer and dryer. There were plenty of bath towels, beach towels, beach chairs and even 2 bath robes were provided. Check in process was very easy and smooth. The guard at the gate had all our information and Dee, the property manager, provided us with the door code at check in time. The location was only about a 20 minute drive to the town of Fernandina – which had lots of shops and great restaurants. There were also other great restaurants closer to the condo/plantation. The only disappointment was that the pool on the property was closed for renovations. The listing said the pool was recently renovated in 2019, but did not mention it was closed again for more renovations. However, Dee did allow us to use a pool at another condo complex which was about a 15 minute walk via the beach. We ended up driving to that condo when we wanted to use the pool.

Peaceful and pleasant

Lovely 2 bedroom tastefully decorated, amazing views and an endless beach. We enjoyed the vacation immensely and appreciated being at Turtle Dunes and having access to all the amenities of the Omni resort. We would unconditionally recommend this villa to anyone seeking a quiet relaxing vacation.

Great location, great stay!

Great unit and location inside of the Omni plantation. Excellent (and prompt) communication from the property manager as well as assistance when needed. Dee even helped us get into a nearby buidling's pool while ours was being worked on.

Fabulous stay Turtle Dunes

I traveled with my spouse and 9 year old daughter. The stay was excellent! The condo was clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped. Beach and pool access were very easy!!!! And the ocean views were incredible!!! Dee was personable and accommodating. Beautiful place!

Great location and ocean view

Loved Turtle Dunes condominium at Amelia Island. Condo/AI plantation close to many historical sites, parks, and coastal waterways. Beach was gorgeous—open and uncrowded.
