“Well-appointed cottage that was once a stable block. Very nicely renovated with all the essentials that you need in a vacation home. Welcome pack (including a small bottle of milk!). Comfortable bed. Wood burning stove plus electric heaters. Set on its own behind the main house, it is visited by sheep grazing on common land and deer coming down to visit. Beautiful part of the country and well recommended for those wanting tranquility and calm (no tv!). ”

“Fantastic situation which suited us and our 2 dogs perfectly. You need to be organised with food due to the nearest shop being over 30 miles away but that being said we found some fantastic eateries on our road trips around the area. The negatives are that the ceiling are very low the stairs awkward and narrow and the condition is basic. Take chairs with you so that you can enjoy the sun trap garden. Luckily we had really good weather (last week in Apri)”

“Lovely location as a base to explore the North West coast of the Highlands. Spacious house, good wood burner, good sized rooms, well equipped kitchen with all you'd expect. My only complaint would be a lack of some sundries, such as there were only a few toilet rolls between us 7 adults and 2 children - 2 out of the 3 bathrooms we used ran out of toilet paper. We also felt they were a bit stingy with laundry detergent - something which again we ran out of and had to buy our own. The other...
