Holiday Family vacation
We stayed for 5 days between Christmas and New Year’s. The accommodations were great, the only thing I would suggest is looking at the lock in the door, it’s a little tricky. Most of all changing out the carpet, not a good impression when walking in and seeing stains on the carpet. Otherwise we enjoyed are stay.

Early Christmas get-together.
We enjoyed the house very much. The neighborhood was lovely and convenient to everything. The house was spacious, comfortable and I'd love to visit again when the weather is warmer! We were there during a real cold spell, and the temperature improved on the day we left. The only negative thing was that the carpet was stained and dirty. That was unfortunate because the rest of the house was great.

Great Location, property needs some work
Very good location for our purposes. Layout of the house handles people very well, with public and private spaces. Perfect for a group or family that doesn’t need or want to look at sand and the ocean. The front porch and railing is in a frightful state and MUST be replace, before someone goes head-over-teakettle or the whole staircase collapses. A thorough cleaning would help, lots of cobwebs. The carpet is pretty spooky and should be cleaned or replaced. Although not unique to this property, the “host fees” are outrageous and infuriates me. It’s like a restaurant tacking on a 20% fee for dishwashing services. Just tell us upfront what the cost is.

Great location with easy beach access
Communication with property owners/management was quick and efficient. The condo was clean although the carpets were a bit dingy/stained in places. Although you do use a some stairs to get to the beach it was a quick walk. Location was great as it didn’t take long to get to any of “touristy” destinations

DIRTY, DATED AND DARK
This was our first visit to Isle of Palms and we were so incredibly disappointed. The photos on VRBO totally misrepresent the property. This was one of the worst VRBO's we have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in many VRBO's across the country. Stained carpet, dirty couch and dining room chairs, cob webs over master bed, mold in the dishwasher and when we stripped our bed (requested by agent) the mattress was urine stained!! This property needs major TLC before its rented again!! How this property received a 9.2 rating is a sham!!! This is the first time we have ever given a VRBO property a negative review.

Deceiving listing
The worst vrbo we’ve stayed in. Photos are deceiving. The house is outdated and needs updating especially the windows with all the spiders and cobwebs and the dirty sectional in the living room. Due to the tropical storm we ended our stay within 24 hrs and that was the best decision for my family. We never felt comfortable in this house.

Overall nice house and great location to the beach.
House was spacious enough for a family of 5. Lots of different sitting rooms. The house’s architecture and charm was nice. It was a short walk to the beach. Only complaints would be the cleanliness. Vents as soon as you walk in are very thick w dust and need to be changed. Pulled out 4/5 dishes that were literally not washed, dirty towels in washing machine,. Only thing I would consider adding to the house would be window treatments. But over all I would def recommend this property. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Old and dirty
Upon arrival we had a great first impression of the secluded property. House is tucked in around trees and on a cul de sac. Once we entered the house, we realized it is very outdated with old stained carpet. While unpacking our luggage we quickly realized there was a spider problem and lots of cob webs. The windows, corners of walls and baseboard looked to not have been dusted or vacuumed in quite some time. There was dried food on kitchen counters. We were able to move past the bugs and chalked it up the house is in the woods and it’s been raining. The next day we were loading the dishwasher and discovered black mold. Maybe others may have noticed, didn’t use the dishwasher and didn’t say anything but we could not look past the issue. That is when I contacted the property manager who was quick to respond and offered a pest control company and cleaning lady to arrive that day. The cleaning person was able to wipe the dishwasher clean but we refused to use bc of what we had seen upon arrival. I’m sure there is mold all throughout. The pest control would not help our stay and we killed over 30+ spiders in our 7 days at the property. Of course we still wanted to enjoy our vacation so we tried to set the issues aside. The walk to the beach is through the back of the cul de sac but you must climb lots of stairs to and from which we didn’t anticipate with a loaded beach wagon.. Do not expect a short leisure walk,without crossing a busy intersection. Overall 2/5, pics are deceiving

Nice stay
The house is an older house but a nice house. The location is good, the furniture is comfortable, the beds are fine but the King size bed is a soft mattress. The deck is a nice size but uncovered so tree debris is a constant issue. Kitchen was well stocked but could really use some better lighting. All in all a nice stay.

Great Location for Family and Beach
Nice property and in a nice area. Beach was not over crowed. Convenient to the area. Lots of Stairs so if you cant handle stairs not the place for you. Mattresses could be updated they were not the most comfortable.

Perfect beach house
We loved our stay here and will be back next year!!! It is a beautiful house and it was so clean!! The beds were very comfortable and the living room is cozy. We enjoyed the nice kitchen and sun room and outdoor deck surrounded by beautiful trees. It is a short 5 minute walk to the beach which is so nice and quiet! We had the best weekend. It is a perfect beach house and there are so many good waterfront restaurants close by. This place is a gem!!
