Perfect family spot
The house is great for a family. The kitchen has everything you need. There are some things that could use an upgrade or fix, such as the shower heads, a couple doorknobs, dusty cabinets, and other finishes. However, none of that detracted from what this property has to offer. The incredible heated pool gave our family the best memories. The air hockey, foosball table and pac man game was a fun surprise. Loved the fire tables and really appreciated the extra propane tanks left in the shed. The beach is also incredible. The seagrass was a lot when we were there, but that didn't stop us from playing in the sand. We had a couple things we needed the property manager for and he replied to texts super fast and showed up, or sent someone, to correct the small issues we had right away. The area is also great with many restaurants and stuff to do within 10-15 minute drive. Highly recommend this property.

Enjoyed our stay for my birthday celebration. Location was perfect - near shops and restaurants. Crib and high chair was great for grandson. Pool was wonderful - every day swimming! Weather was great until day we left - Hurricane Helene!

Beautiful property
Beautiful property, incredibly private. The beach, deck, and outside areas were spectacular. We had three chicken friends that visited every day! We traveled to Marathon, Key West, and Tavernier while there, as well as Islamorada. Publix was right in town and we bought some groceries there, but also enjoyed many area restaurants. I think the listing should be updated as the beds were configured differently than we thought (2 bedrooms had 2 twin beds) and it worked for our family but might not for groups with couples. Also, the downstairs and upstairs are separate— you have to go outside to access one area from the other. Again, that didn’t bother us, but it was a surprise. Inside was plenty of space to come together and hang out or find some private areas to be alone. The owner was incredibly communicative and helpful, even calling the day we arrived to make sure everything was working out.

Great location! Beds were comfortable. Pool is huge. The house has too many issues to get 5 stars. Dirty and sticking doors and dirty under beds, chaotic kitchen, leaking ceilings, patched but unpainted walls . House needs to be edited and organized. Not user friendly. Lots of poor quality, unusable items cluttering up the inside and outside.

Great stay
We had a wonderful time hanging out on the beach and in the pool. Our boys loved the paddle boards and kayaks and the air hockey table. We couldn’t recommend this property more.

Good location, close to stores, shopping and restaurants. Gorgeous pool which was enjoyed by all. Plenty of room for 4 couples. Some issues with lighting and the stove. Owner attentive to concerns.

The Keys Vacation
This home had everything we needed for a great Keys vacation. Private beach, large pool, kayaks, paddle boards, proximity to excursions (fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving) and dining options. The house is large with all kinds of appliances, grills, indoor and outdoor seating. We had a great time here and can’t wait until our next family vacation.

An Great Week at a Great Place
The house was as described. Plenty of extra linens available. The paddle boards and kayaks were a plus for our group. The swimming pool offered relaxing times. Wish the turtles nesting onsite would have hatched while we were there but maybe the next guest will notice a hatching.

Best vacation
The house is absolutely wonderful!! The listing is very accurate. We enjoyed the beach and having our own private sand bar! The pool was just as it was advertised, but the hot tub had been removed. That wasn’t an issue for us. The house actually is better than the pictures appear. The only hiccup we had was that the guests before us were inconsiderate and stayed two hours past checkout. Therefore, the cleaners could not complete the house until around 6:00. That was disappointing, but the rest of our week was perfect!!! We would definitely love to stay again!!

Beautiful Beachfront Property
The home is beautiful - many updates aren’t shown in the photos on VRBO, but the lower level has been completely renovated and is gorgeous. The kitchen is the most well-equipped rental we have ever experienced. The volleyball court, pool, and kayaks made for wonderful at home activities and the central location is perfect for a day trip to Key West or John Pennekamp for snorkeling. We visited Hawks Cay and swam with the dolphins and also did a guided kayak tour out of Sombrero Beach through the mangroves. Both were fantastic excursions! Lisa is very responsive and will try to do anything possible to make the vacation stay as described.

Heaven on Earth, Beautiful stay on the Beach
Relaxed & enjoyed watching my adult children play in the water. Enjoyed having the place all to ourselves, especially with covid. We spent most of the time at the house & didn't go too far. Kayaked, used the paddleboards, walked the beach. Didn't want to leave!

A wonderful week
We had a fabulous week on lower Matecumbe Key in mid-February. The weather was a little windy, but the house and pool were incredible. We greatly enjoyed all of the appliances and conveniences. We will definitely be returning.

Look Elsewhere - Bad Property Management and Communication
Stay clear of this rental and property owner. Unfortunately, this listing is inaccurate and the place is neglected. A hot tub was mentioned but it was not working. Also, the place itself appears to have not been serviced in a long time. The outside showers and spigots are only half-working, the pool fountain doesn’t work, the upstairs fridge was broke (though this was replaced halfway through our trip), the main door was stiff and had to be closed with force, the beach itself was a mess with a ton of garbage everywhere, the outside fireplace didn’t work, the door knob handle slipped right off the door when I went to turn it, the hand soaps were empty, wash cloths were missing, and to make matters worse the cleaning crew was there until 8 pm at night and check-in was at 3 pm. The place itself is pretty nice otherwise and the pool was pretty decent, however, when we explained the problems to Lisa (the owner of the property), she acted like everything was out of her control. She was very difficult to communicate with. When I saw her in person to say “hi” she didn’t even reply back to me. This place needs some serious work to get it back in shape. If you are considering renting this place don’t expect everything listed to be accurate and don’t expect Lisa to fix your problems if you have any. Personally, for the price, I would have booked a different place. I don’t mind spending money for a place like this if it is advertised correctly or if there was a property manager or owner who took customer complaints seriously but this is not the place for five start service or amenities. Lisa is barely keeping this property afloat and needs to step up her game big time if she wants to continuing renting this place out.

Fantastic Time!
All aspects of the home were top quality including furnishings, appliances, comfort, accessibility, multiple doors to decks, pool full access, beach access, highway access, local restaurants nearby, travel to any and all attractions (boat and dive shops), and everything we needed! Wonderful - Best place to Stay in the Keys
One week stay - our whole family. We are from Kansas City, MO and we've been coming to the keys for vacation a long time. This is a great place!!! Lots of room for the whole family. Perfect Pool and beach area. Lots of places to eat and, shop, and play, and see the sites. Our host Lisa were great. She checked to make sure we had everything we needed while we were there. Very private place. Clean, lots of nice size bedrooms and (2) kitchens - WOW.

This property was perfect for our family of 5 adults! Vieww were fabulous! So nice to have a private beach. We spent many hours at the beach and pool. We had the great opportunity to witness where a turtle came ashore to lay her eggs. We brought our boat down and docked it at close by Caloosa Cove Marina. The home was very nice and we had lots of room outside and inside to relax or group together. I would highly recommend this property. Lisa was very friendly and accommodating to us. We will be back for another vacation!

Absolutely Fantastic
Amazing is the best word to describe our stay at this home. Lisa has really thought of everything that could possibly be wanted or used while at the home for vacation. The house was exceptionally clean upon check-in; the appliances are updated and work very well. The location is 2nd to none in the Keys, close to many restaurants, marinas, and grocery stores in Islamorada. Top-notch all around, we will definitely be staying here again. Thank you, Lisa, for making our vacation one that will be talked about for years to come.

Home away from Home
This was our first time using a vacation rental site and it was great! Lisa was extremely easy to work with. Her beautiful home, the location, and the views could not be matched. We had a wonderful and relaxing time. She has all the amenities you could want and it’s just like living in your own home. The location is very close to some fantastic restaurants and great entertainment venues as well. I would definitely recommend this as a vacation rental for both families or a group of friends. The house is very spacious. Lisa’s home is very popular and her weeks fill up quickly. After spending time there I can see why!
