“Booked for a week. Had only one roll of TP. Had a few cockroaches and can of Raid was only good for one spray. Road noise because Apartment was right on road and cars coming uphill were sometimes very noisy. Water leak around toilet. Lounge room chairs and lounge not comfortable to sit in. Price was good and location close to most attractions but would not return.”

“The view was fantastic and we had a couple of spectacular sunsets. To be able to sit on the balcony with that view was incredible. It overlooks the historic Kingston, so a few kms out of town but still some good eating options close by. Definitely need a car. Would use them again if possible.”

“Absolutely a hideaway as the name of these apartments indicate. Friendly hosts and only too happy to accommodate. Property is aged but in the process of rejuvenation. Lovely place to stay. Thank you Ruth & Beresford.👍”

“We had a wonderful time at Channers which suited us perfectly. Set in beautiful gardens, within walking distance to the shopping centre, and with a neat little car included in the price. We stayed at Apartment One in the original homestead, and we had loads of room and lots of comfort among the beauty of Norfolk Island. We will definitely be visiting again.”

“A large unit with well equipped kitchen. Basic supplies appreciated as we arrived on a Sunday. Friendly pick up at the airport with hire car organised by motel. Great view from the veranda. 10 min walk from town centre Local mobile phone provided as Australian phones do not work on Norfolk Island and no global roaming. Good internet for WhatsApp”

“Older accommodation. Clean, spacious, beds comfortable, full kitchen facilities. Didn't see the "rain shower head" in the bathroom though :) . There was however a shower curtain that liked to "get up close and personal". Would be no good for elderly as car parking was 50 meters from the units down a steep grassy hill and poorly lit. “Rooms catered for our needs in a simple but elegant and comfortable way. Lovely Robert Gordon pottery and linens hopefully give an idea. Outlook with views of rolling countryside and the sea were what we were after, and needed, to completely relax and forget anything back home allowing us to just enjoy the peace and quiet, the clean air, birds out the back. “The apartment and its amenities met all my expectations, except for the internet service, which was lousy. There is a Norfolk Telecom wi-fi hotspot on the property, however its line-of-site service does not extend to all the apartments. There was no service at all to my apartment and I was forced to go outside and sit in the BBQ area to get any reception. “The Nuffka Apartments are comfortable and spacious. They are located on the edge of Burnt Pine but within easy walking distance to a supermarket, the airport, the leagues club and the visitors’ centre. The owners invited us to choose anything we wanted from their vegetable garden to use.”
