“This charming cottage was very clean, had the amenities as listed, well-equipped kitchen, including coffee and tea. Great location. We did not use our vehicles the whole time we were in Mackinaw. Easy walk to the ferry, downtown, and the bike/walking trail. Owner was quick to respond when we had a question. Highly recommend.”

“Great cottage on beautiful Brevort Lake. House was extremely clean and comfortable with bedding and towels supplied aa well as kitchen stocked with all the utensils we needed. The fire pit area right on the lakefront is awesome and was enjoyed every night. Highly recommend this place for a wonderful and relaxing time in the beautiful UP.”

“This was the perfect place. The setting was absolutely breathtaking and couldn't get over how close it was to Mackinaw Island. It was 3 moms and 3 kids staying. Over all we loved it. There are some ideas of things that may have helped too. 1. Having a mattress protector on all the beds. Got littles that may have accentses. Another was the laundry sheets sent was a bit much. “We absolutely loved staying at this cabin. It is a one of a kind cabin, thoughtfully restored to transport you back in time. It's unique. A very old propane stove and irefrigerator add to the charm. Because it's an old home, don't expect to have all of the modern comforts - but if you want to connect to nature and disconnect from the modern world (like we did) then look no further. “The name of the property says it all!! The one room cabin was a perfect get away. There was access to the bike trail directly across the street and the 7 mile bike ride into town was very nice. It was nice to “come home” each night to our own place. There were no issues - the binder of information regarding the property was helpful and the cookies were delicious!”
