“Boomfish Cottage is a cozy place with everything you could need . It was clean , comfy and serene . It provided the perfect calm for us during a weekend long family wedding at nearby Caswell Flower Farm . It was also easy access for an older person ( me) as well as small children and my little ShihTzu rescue dogs . My granddaughters came by and loved catching minnows in the still warm lake. Extra bonus was enjoying the peak foliage at the lake . Eric , the property manager was very communicative...

“We had a wonderful visit to OOB to finish off our summer. The cottage is a quick walk to the beach and pier. It was very clean and comfortable for the four of us to relax and recharge in between swimming, playing mini-gold, and enjoying the amusement park.”

“We had a wonderful stay - myself, my husband and my 6,4, and 2 year old children all enjoyed our time at the beach. We could have done without the harassment of the old lady from cottage 4 (owner perhaps?) telling us to get out at 10am. We were packing the car at 10:02 and trying to get the kids in - we were not in the cottage anymore everything was out. We left the property 10:11am. Her nagging and threats of charging extra were completely unnecessary. It was too bad to have to leave on...

“What a wonderful stay. The views were absolutely amazing. Kitchen well equipped. We bought live lobsters just $10 a lb from Hannafords (try also the French baguette) just 12 min drive and cooked them, clams and corn all in the steamer provided. Lounge seating very comfortable. Cooks corner area has everything incl Walmart superstore. David was a wonderful host. Could not speak too highly of him. He came out late at night when I could not work something out.”

“Front and back porch were great. Sheets and towels included, very convenient. Fireplace in the middle of the place was a bit awkward but overall a nice setup. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Chaz' Long Island house. It is open and airy and maintains its 100 year old charm even as it's been updated. It sits in a great, grassy yard with plenty of bright light and has a terrific, large deck on the front. The golf cart ride to all beaches is short and lovely!”
