“Ensuite was across the hall and shared, toilet down the hall - not what I was expecting and floor a bit rickety underfoot. Actual room was good with plenty of space and a view of the bay and across Oban. Easy walking distance to all Oban facilities - train, ferries, buses, shopping, restaurants and pubs. ”

“On a hill with a great view. Accommodations were excellent. A bit difficult to find for someone not familiar with the area and non-numbered house addresses. Just ask for directions from one of the neighbors you’ll likely find walking their dog and you’ll be fine. ”

“Arbour Guesthouse is a simple place but it's clean and it's a good value (considering that accomodations in Oban are a bit pricy). We regretted though that the "double bed" was only 120 cm and not properly advertised as sub-standard. It would be nice as well to have good curtains (blackout and down to the floor) as up north the sun rises very early in summer.”

“I had a 2 night business trip so cost was important. The cost was within my allocated budget. The room was well kitted out. Kettle, fridge, ironing facilities, coffee,tea, table to work at, comfortable bed and a tv. Even had a clock alarm at side of bed and a hairdryer. Towels aplenty and a wonderful high pressure shower. I am sure I have not included everything but would highly recomend this guest house to anyone in oban for a short stay.”

“We had a lovely stay at the property. Everything was cozy and charming and really well maintained. Very clean. And the extra touches and attention to detail were lovely. The owner that checked us in was also wonderful. Everything was peretty much perfect. The only thing that wasn’t up to par with the rest of the experience was the mattress. It was very hard and you could feel the springs coming through. I know mattresses can be a pricey upgrade, but our only advice to make the stay a 5 star...
