“This property is great for a large family. Love the open kitchen/living room area. Plenty of houseware for everyone. the extra small refrigerator came in handy. The only suggestion or need for a family with small children is I wish we had a gate to go at the bottom of the steps to keep the little one from going up the stairs. The deck was nice but unfortunately due to weather we couldn't really enjoy it. We were looking forward to fishing from the deck. This was a great stay!”

“The farmhouse is very nice. And oh so quiet we were amazed that we only heard one other vehicle in the two days we were here. If you say there’s a little restaurant called Maw Maws diner. I highly recommend it for breakfast”

“The cottage is in a great location in Lakeside, part of the Marblehead community. Being there in October felt like being in a different world. It was peaceful and quiet. We were within walking distance of a coffee shop and a few stores which were still open. The cottage is tastefully decorated and met all of our basic needs. The bathroom was small, but workable for a short weekend. Overall a good place to retreat for a weekend.”

“This is the nicest cottage. Tucked away and very private and peaceful. Host was easy to contact and gave us great advice on what to bring. Would rent this for sure again!! Great hideaway and suggest it for Fall as well. The Island was great to see without the hussle and bussle of summer!!”

“We had a great weekend at Stargazer Haven with extended family. Kate has done a great job updating the house. There were tons of comfortable beds, kitchen had plenty of dishes, pots, pans, etc., and there were some nice extras—pickleball paddles, mini golf clubs, chalk, etc. This is a great home for families on a quiet street. The location couldn’t be better—close to the lake and downtown area. Kate was really helpful when we had questions. We highly recommend this home. ”

“I highly recommend a stay at "Lovely Lakeside"! Everything was exactly as advertised--or better! The location is perfect--a quick walk to the lake, The Patio, and everything else downtown. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed having two separate living areas for a group of six adults and one toddler. The deck and backyard were perfect for toddler play in the afternoon and grownup conversation in the evening. The house was well-equipped for cooking, the bathrooms were clean...

“We had two tiny houses side-by-side. One for the grandparents and one for mom and dad dad and two kids. It was the perfect set up and the perfect amount of room. Very clean and nice”

House is part of a series of hones owned by a single owner who is very responsive. Private street is quiet and safe for kids. Coffeeshops, restaurants, and tourist entertainment was farther than expected (20+ minutes) but Magee Marsh park had excellent beaches (5 min drive).
