“What can we say, other than what a great little place. From the moment we arrived to the time we left the service would amazing. We were welcomed warmly and even waved off! Dawn, was a great host. The room was in great condition, super comfy bed, and lovely shower/bathroom. Only a 5 minute wonder into town, yet far enough away that its peaceful and quiet. “My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful three weeks at Foinaven, and had a couple of friends from home visit for a week during our stay. We flew in and out of Inverness and rented a car for a reasonable price so that we could take day trips here and there (we really didn’t need it much in Ullapool, except for larger grocery runs). “Had a lovely stay in Shiskine! The only thing I worried about was the proximity to the road but so few cars drove by, especially at night, that it is no problem at all. Peaceful and quiet. The tiny house/pod is just as promised in the pictures. I had a fantastic time exploring the surroundings of the lighthouse and of course all the beaches nearby. The beach below the property was basically a private one (in October), as I only saw a couple of other people once.”
