“The property was lovely, just a few issues with phone numbers which are not available and the rubbish, if there was a sheet with bin empty info and proper coloured bin and boxes then people could put the bins out , the rubbish was mounting up from previous guests. Some of the places to visit need updating assome no longer open as a cafe. There is no visitor book to sign when leaving as it says in the leaflets, but other than these problems we had a great time”

All rooms to high standard and well laid out with the addition of the small kitchen/bedroom/bathroom/living area which was excellent for our family with an infant to have thier own space. “A fantastic place to stay, such a peaceful retreat to escape to, which myself, my husband and our dog loved very much. The setting is very rural, rustic and idyllic, surrounded by animals, birds, forrest and beaches. Ben and Katie are lovely hosts and made use feel very welcome and comfortable. “We stayed for 2 nights at the end of August and we were lucky enough to have sunshine both days! The cottage is a delight with a great kitchen and bathroom and a short walk to the beach. Google tide times if you fancy a paddle as Red Wharf Bay has a large tidal basin. I think that's part of the charm myself. “Disappointed with water pressure: dog hair on the basement sofas as someone was allergic and reacted with them, but I do appreciate it is a dog friendly ;had to clear the ‘alien’ shower as it was overflowing but was fine afterwards. Fabulous location and lovely sociable house for a big group of a mix of ages from 19-89! ”
