“Don’t stay here if you’re expecting some shops around the corner. It’s 23 kilometres from the nearest town, but that’s the good thing about it. Out on a sheep station but with fabulous views over Backstairs Passage, a well equipped kitchen to cook in and a great outdoor deck area. An amble through the fields to a couple of completely private beaches. Swallows nesting in the garage. And yes there is a washing machine”

“We were in a courtyard suite, not in our typical price range but decided to splurge a little. It was comfortable, nothing fancy but that's what you'd expect from something so remote. Wifi didn't work much either (not even in the restaurant), but again, it's remote. The reason for my rating is that when we woke up, there was no water at all. “We had the best time, so close to fishing and we caught heaps of marron and enjoyed our stay on the property. So many beautiful day trips out in glorious wildlife and countryside. The kitchen was all stocked and we could cater for all our guests for our party with the huge oven, glasses, coffee machine, cutlery and platters to boot. ”
