NOT a "Hotel", worst "hostel" ever.
There is no reception at all as the host is actually built it near his home for rent.
We arrived the "hotel" at 14:00 but the host was out. It mentioned check-in from 16:00, so we drove around to do some scenic drive. When we were back at 16:30, the host was not there. And the host was not there until 17:00!
No communication email or message was sent to us. Until we called the host, he didn't pick up the first time. The second time he picked it up but he doesn't speak Cantonese, Mandarin and English at all. We spent like 10 min. just to guess what he was saying. He's simply repeating "Room 1,2,3,2".
We tried to open the door of room 2 and it can be opened. Room key was inside the room on the sink. We at once felt why check-in need to be 16:00. The door was unlocked and the key was inside anyway.
The room is small and full of ants! You can easily found insects like grasshoppers, crickets, gecko and cockroach just in front of your room. The tatami and the bed sheets were dirty with stains!!
We requested to cancel it through Hotels.com Live Chat, and the staff said the host cannot be communicated since he doesn't speak English. And without host's approval, no cancellation can be arranged!
We kept trying to request cancellation in the second day and third day, same result...
If you are not a nature-lover, it is definitely not a place for you.
