Our stay was okay, the location is ideal though. The photos of this rental seem to be out dated & make this cabin look nicer than it is. There was no gazebo outside & the furniture on the inside is a bit different. The cleaning lady was still cleaning the cabin when we arrived at 3pm for check in. She was super friendly & was running behind, not a huge issue at all. However, the overall appearance of this cabin is meh. There were dead bugs and old dried up eye contacts in the window sill up in the loft area, the floor in the loft is just plywood with rugs over it, and there was no hand soap in the kitchen, we had to buy our own. The listing stated that there was air conditioning, but when we arrived in the 90 degree weather, we were told that it hadn't been hooked up yet. With the help of the cleaning gal, we ended up plugging in the air conditioner & turning it on, luckily, the cleaning gal fixed the air conditioner to vent out of the window otherwise we wouldn't have realized that the exhaust was going into the cabin. The outdoor furniture was covered in pollen & we had to clean it ourselves in order to use it. We don't go up north to stay in a hotel or live in luxury but this was just a bit too outdated and rustic for our liking. Compared to other listings in the area, this cabin seems a bit overpriced. This place needs some renovations & love. It has so much potential. If you are a hunter or there to ride, this place is good to rest your head but that's about it.
