“Very nice hotel. We had a lovely room called the Chestnut 3rd floor in the eaves of the hotel ,very nice until a massive spider dropped from the eaves I couldn't rest then in case there was more, i'm not a lover of spiders. We had a nice afternoon tea. Nice surroundings. ”

“The room was a good size and the shower was great.Dressing table chair was badly worn so needs replacing and the window catch was bent and didn't fully close.The garden was pleasant for a lunchtime drink and the beer was very well kept.Didn't eat so can't comment about the food.”

“Great Stay. Excellent food in the restaurant in the evening, although a little pricey but that’s hotels for you. Room was spotless, WiFi was good but phone signal poor. We didn’t stay with breakfast inc and I think £20 is a bit steep so went next door to Fryers Garden centre and had great breakfast for less than half the price! ”

“Would of given a 5 but for some reason no advertising of bar food and when i looked at the menu it was what we wanted we ordered a taxi to go to Knutsford but then was told they had bar food but we decided to go out. Would be nice if the bar food was highlighted in the bar area.”

“On arrival the receptionist, was unaware that we had purchased early booking in. When we went to the bar and informed the staff we were a 1.30 booking for afternoon tea, they were unaware that this had been booked prior to arrival. The same story happened when turning up to our dinner booking, they had no record. That said all staff in these areas apologised and sorted this out for us. There is obviously a passing of information issue here, which led to staff apologising for these errors.”

“Good hotel. Excellent for easiness of airport. All staff were helpful and friendly. Swimming pool is excellent. Warning no shallow area if have small children. Breakfast was very good. I would happily stay again ”
