Highland 'Home from Home' con vista panorámica de Cromarty Firth

Situada a orillas del Cromarty Firth, con impresionantes vistas a la Isla Negra, nuestra cabaña tiene capacidad para seis personas cómodamente y puede acomodar hasta nueve.
La cabaña es engañosamente amplia (superficie total de 129 metros cuadrados). En la planta baja hay un amplio salón con arco a una gran cocina / comedor, baño con ducha separada y una habitación familiar con cama doble y una individual.
En el primer piso hay una sala de ducha entre una habitación doble amplia y otra habitación familiar con cama doble y cama individual.
También hay un pequeño jardín elevado detrás de la cabaña.
Carretera de estacionamiento tiene capacidad para tres coches.

EL BARRIO
 Saltburn es un pequeño pueblo en las afueras de Invergordon y es una situación ideal para explorar las tierras altas, con fácil acceso a las magníficas playas, bosques, senderismo, golf, ciclismo, pesca, etc. Hay por lo menos seis campos de 18 hoyos dentro de una hora en coche, entre ellos el Royal Dornoch, ubicación tan perfecto para unas vacaciones de golf!
Invergordon, 1 ½ millas de distancia es un destino de cruceros, de hecho, algunos revestimientos atan en Saltburn muelle, cuando hay más de 2 trazadores de líneas en un único día. También cuenta con impresionantes murales en frontones de toda la ciudad y cuenta con un centro deportivo con piscina de ocio, museo naval, un campo de golf de 18 hoyos y un campo de bolos. Una variedad de restaurantes y comida para llevar satisfacer todos los gustos.

Sólo unas pocas millas de distancia se encuentra la finca Balnagown que tiene buenas oportunidades para explorar el aire libre con el ciclismo dedicado y rutas de senderismo.

La Isla Negro, que se ve desde las ventanas de su casa de campo es realmente una península y está bien merece una visita con un montón de pueblos pintorescos. Cromarty Corte del museo, ubicado en un edificio de la corte original de 1773, retrata la vida de un viejo burgo escoceses (de los cuales Cromarty es un buen ejemplo). Cottage de Hugh Miller, recordando la vida del geólogo nacido localmente y la iglesia-hombre, también está aquí.

El Negro Isla de la fauna y el parque tiene una buena selección de animales (algunos de los cuales se puede alimentar a mano por los niños).

Hay destilerías para visitar en Alness, Muir of Ord y Tain.

Tain a través del Tiempo explora la historia muy diferente de Tain, (el más antiguo burgo real de Escocia) antiguamente un importante lugar de peregrinación.

Otros lugares de interés, como el Museo de la Infancia en Highland Strathpeffer y el Museo Casa Groam en Rosemarkie que tiene un tema picta, al igual que el Discovery Centre Tarbat en Portmahomack, basado en los resultados de una importancia internacional excavación arqueológica.

Warm and cozy with great views
This charming home was the perfect place for our girlfriend get away. We used it as a base to drive all around the highlands. The neighborhood was quiet with sounds of just birds and crashing waves. I went for morning walks enjoying the view of the water in the front and up the hill in the back enjoyed beautiful farm land with the sound of sheep in the distance. The home itself was well stocked with everything we needed; glasses, plates, knives as well as some tea, coffee and snacks that Noreen left for us. The beds were clean and soft for a good nights sleep. The showers were also clean and powerful. Noreen goes the extra mile in giving some ideas for activities with an hour or so driving distance and they did not disappoint. To sum it up; this home is the perfect getway! We will be recommending this place.

Lovely Home in a Wonderful Location
My brother and I had a wonderful stay in this lovely, well equipped home. A warm welcome from Noreen was greatly appreciated. It made a great base for exploring the North Highlands. Nice size rooms, great washer and dryer, lovely big tub/showers, clean and had everything we needed. Loved being across from the Cromarty Firth – the oil rig was my night light and the sound of the water lapping gently against the shore – haven’t slept that well in ages. Such a great location – from there we ventured out to Dunrobin Castle, John O’Groats, the west coast, hiked out to Ardverikie (the house used for filming in the Monarch of the Glen) and explored Inverness. People were so friendly and helpful, we didn’t want to leave. McGinty’s is a great local café in the town. Even managed to watch some of the Euros games. Cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed staying here. I hope we will return soon – Kinleith really is a gem of a place. Thank you for everything!

A thoroughly fantastic stay
Fantastic trips out to Loch Ness, Culloden, Inverness Walking history tour, wildlife boat trip from Cromarty, Aviemore, Dunrobin Castle and my favourite Skara Brae day trip on The Orkneys. Also saw The Northern Lights. Home inside is immaculate, fantastic views of Cromarty Firth and a nice pub down the road for an evening meal.

Outstanding!
Kenleith Cottage was absolutely beautiful! It is much larger than it appears in the pictures. The host provided a basket of basic goods in case we did not have any. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout the cottage. Noreen has really done well thinking about the needs of the travelers who will be staying there. Noreen herself is very nice and easy to talk to. We would book again if we come back this way. Loved it!

Perfect Location!
Lovely, comfortable house right across from the Cromarty Firth. Invergordon is a nice little, friendly town to be based in and explore the Highlands. The beds in the house were wonderful—nice living room with comfortable sofas and large window to watch the cruise ships coming and going. All 3 bedrooms were a nice size, good showers. In short, we would definitely stay there again and highly recommend Noreen!!

Great location for exploring the highlands
Kinleith Cottage was a wonderful location for our trip as we explored the area. The house was clean, spacious, and ideal for our group. There were so many thoughtful extras around the cottage, like books about the area and maps. Noreen was kind and so helpful. We would definitely stay at Kinleith Cottage when we are in the area again.

Small town getaway
A nice quite location with easy access to Inverness and points north. Homey feel with owner suppling crafts for purchase. Lovely small town on the firth within walking distance to several pubs and restaurants. Washer was fine however dryer in garage was a little finicky. Overall met our needs and requirements.

We had a wonderful time while staying at this property. This is a quite place,ideal for 2 families(sleeps up to 9-10 people). The location is ideal, located centrally to all the major tourist spots i.e Fort William,Loch Ness,Isle of Skye etc.

Exceptional vacation
We had a wonderful time. The home was much larger than expected and was cozy. The town was lovely. We loved Tucker’s Inn. The owner was incredibly helpful with recommendations of things to do and see. We had a problem with the dryer and the response time from reporting to fixing was ten minutes. Everything was terrific.

Had to Clean Freezer etc before we used them
We had brought frozen dishes, I had to clean the freezer before I put our dishes in, every drawer had crumbs and one had melted ice cream. There were 2 bins under a table with no lids, I open the grill to make a meal to find the under side of the grill pan was very greasy. We were left a nice welcome pack including filter coffee unfortunately the filter machine had a filter with blue mould from a previous occupant. I phoned the owner and they offered a full refund however we had family arriving later that evening. After cleaning we decided to stay for a few days and managed to find another property from later in the week . We got a refund for the days we didn’t stay and the extra charged for additional cleaning and laundry for our extra guest was refunded.

It was a nice cottage to stay, very clean and tidy and the owner was very responsive when needed.
We really enjoyed the stay at Kinleith Cottage. It was a beautiful house facing the sea. The neighbourhood was very calm and quite. Perfect location for day trips to Northern Highlands. Owner Noreen was very helpful and was very responsive when needed. We look forward to come stay again in Kinleith.

Very nice house to stay. Noreen has kept almost every thing we need for family especially if you are into cooking such as Indian food. May be a pressure cooker is the only thing missing but we had our own!!! 😁 The only problem was the shower upstairs don't get hot water continuously may be it looses pressure, Noreen can install a pump!! Otherwise a very nice house to stay. The location is nice but not very near to Loch Ness. If weather is nice there is beautiful beach just in 20 minutes drive, its called Dornoch beach.

This property was great and very comfortable. It was a great home away from home and we were able to do day trips easily. The owner is amazing to work with and very responsive when needed. We had a wonderful goody basket waiting for us when we arrived. We highly recommend this property.

Wonderful stay -'home away from home' experience at Kinleith Cottage.
Kinleith Cottage surpassed our expectations with regard to location, cleanliness, and genuinely felt as if it was 'home away from home'. The owner had furnished the cottage with great care and attention to detail which made our stay very comfortable with breathtaking views across Cromarty Firth from every room. We would highly recommend this property and plan to go back next year as well.

It is a beautiful house facing the sea. The house was very spacious and clean. We spent 4 nights here exploring the high land of Scotland. A perfect location for northern travel. The owner was very friendly and warm. We really enjoyed and love to come back.

Spacious and well equipped!
Noreen could not have been more helpful to us in helping in every way possible to provide what we needed for our stay with pur Autistic disabled daughter. Roomy bungalow with 2 further Dorma bedrooms as well as a downstairs bedroom. Lovely views.

All above expectations, gorgeous cottage
This spacious home is very comfortable and nicely located. From this cottage you can very well visit the highlands, but also Loch Ness, Cairngorm mountain and the Spey district are good to visit. The cottage is very well furnished, a complete kitchen and a good and warm welcome from the hostess. On arrival there was a nice welcome basket with regional dishes.
