“The hotel was perfect and appreciate the upgrade. Wish I had booked 2 nights. Had brunch at the lobby bar but they never placed my order. Finally one attendant sorted it all out when he found out, and in the end didn’t charge me for the meal. “I didn't like that the weekend cleaning staff weren't very thorough. In room dining menu was scarce of meat dishes, but the food was delicious anyway. There was also a Sundays and public holidays surcharge on room service. However the room itself, was fantastic! The view was nice, the room and furniture were neat, tidy and clean. An in-room coffee pod machine with complementary pods and bottled water. The bed was extremely comfortable and luxurious. The staff were great and very helpful....

“This hotel is a real vibe - from the rooftop pool, to the Friday afternoon happy hour at the rooftop bar. The location is primo - right behind Howard Smith Wharves where there are plenty of dining and drinking options. Also close to Fortitude Valley and CBD - both in walking distance. The only thing I didn’t like was not enough lighting in the bathroom for makeup application. It’s very annoying when bathrooms are designed for form over function.”
