“This is our 2nd stay at the Chateaux. The condo was clean and had the necessary amenities. This condo is on the 4th floor and the elevator does not function. We had been forewarned by the property owner of it being out of order. Carrying luggage and other items 4 flights and making multiple trips was tiring. “First off, we had a great time. The unit was spacious, the back deck was massive, and the pool was great for the kids. And really, you can’t beat the location and amazing views. That being said the place is aging and showing signs of wear and tear. We are not super picky but we do like when things are well kept and we appreciate that packaged-fresh hotel feel and this place doesn’t offer that. You can definitely achieve that feeling in this area for the price but you’d likely sacrifice the pool...

“The place was amazing. It was clean and it had everything you could need. The ocean was beautiful and so was the pool. Very clean. The only two issues was the elevator did not work and has been out for a long time. Three flights of stairs (47 steps) was a lot for me. And the other thing was the pool cleaners came during the morning, thru in chlorine and said the pool was closed all day. Very sad. They should do that overnight.”

“The house is large and well appointed. The beds are comfortable and the pool is lovely. Note that the pool heater and hot tub cannot get hot at same time which is a bummer. The only issue, which wasn’t even an issue, just something to consider in case you’re driving a van or SUV with one of those storage things on the roof - not anything the host could’ve anticipated. Was unable to park inside the garage, the door wouldn’t lift up high enough for my vehicle to go under - but the vehicle is a RAM 3500, significantly larger and taller than an average vehicle. I didn’t have any issues parking outside, feels like a safe neighborhood.”
