Communication nightmare
We booked our stay well in advance and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the property.
It was clean and everything seem to be as represented
Upon further notice, we discovered the second floor bedroom had no nightstands just lamps sitting on the floor
The handle for the water supply fell off in our hands after the doorhandle to the glass shower almost fell off also, and then the drain was so clogged that you were standing in dirty water the entire time you bathed
I would not have given that much thought the exception being the entire community was being reroofed and we were Every morning at 7 AM with men on ladders and climbing on our roof and pounding and hammering
We let the company know, and they said they would get back to us. I asked for some sort of compensation not even a full refund was told that there was nothing that they could do.
Very disappointed since it was the entire community this repair work was scheduled well in advance, and we were given no notification prior to our arrival which eliminated our option to cancel and rebook somewhere else
I was also disappointed with Vrbo. They did not put pressure on the hose to do something about it or be more forthright in the communication regarding this repair.
All in all, it’s a shame it’s a good location, fairly well equipped communication lack completely lackin
