Wonderful stay in Bottai

We spent a week in the Florence area: 3 nights a few blocks from the Duomo and the rest of the time at Certosa 5. It is so peaceful and convenient. The bus stop is a few feet away and Bus 37 will take you to the grocery store, Esselunga in Galluzzo, a few stops toward Florence. Bus 37 will also take you into Florence in about 30 minutes and terminates at Santa Maria Novella train station. We would get off the bus at the Sant Onofrio bus stop which is just south of Arno River. From there, it’s an easy walk across the bridges to see the sights of downtown Florence. Buy tickets early to the Academia del Galleria to see The David, magnificent! Certosa 5 is a beautiful place and felt like home! Stefano is very responsive very kind. We arrived early and had to wait at the park by the bus stop. Stefano picked us up and drove our 5 large pieces of luggage to the home.

Beautiful views

We were greeted at the front gate by Stefano, he was friendly and full of information. We had a very nice stay, cooked meals in the kitchen, made good coffee in the moka pots and slept well in the beds. It was nice having a gate, though the neighborhood was very quiet. All the windows looked out to greenery or hills, it was beautiful.

Ferienhaus in der Peripherie von Florenz

Wir haben hier eine Winterwoche mit der ganzen Familie verbracht (4 erwachsene Kinder). Das Haus ist geräumig, gut eingerichtet und extrem sauber. Der Empfang durch Diletta und Stefano war herzlich und verlief reibungslos. Sie waren flexibel, als wir erst viel später als vorgesehen ankamen und auch die Abreise ging unkompliziert von statten. Florenz war gut mit dem Bus zu erreichen.Es gab nur einen weniger positiven Punkt: das Haus war nicht sehr warm in einer Woche mit durchwachsenem Wetter bei Außentemperaturenvon nachts 6 und tagsüber 15. war schh die Abreise war unkompliziert.die

Schöne Villa

Die Wohnung liegt in einer schönen Villa und hat alles zu bieten, was man im Urlaub so braucht. Wer gern kocht, findet eine gut eingerichtete Küche vor. Die Zimmer und Bäder sind sehr schön eingerichtet. Lediglich die Nähe zur Hauptstraße ist akustisch störend.

Habitation idéale pour se rendre à Florence. Bus à proximité avec arrêt au ponte vecchio. Grande cuisine et chambres Au total parfait pour in séjour entre amis ou en famille spacieuses. Extérieur de la maison propice au "farniente".

Amazing family holiday

We had an amazing family holiday on the outskirts of Florence. We used buses and trains throughout our stay to explore Florence - recommend a visit to the Uffizi. We also had a day trip to pisa. There are so many piazza’s, churches, bars, restaurants, statues and stunning architecture in Florence. We also had a day trip to Pisa. The leaning tower was the highlight of that trip. The property was clean and well equipped. Bus connections were easy. Stefano was helpful. A wonderful holiday ! 😀

MOST TERRIBLE STAY AT FLORENCE - CERTOSA 7

The listing looked promising - close to Villa Corsini where we had a family wedding. Location was close and accomodated 7. Stefano-manager/owner of the property. gave keys and also stated that if the main gates remote did not work please use the keys-as remote was giving problems. All rooms did not have garbage bins for rubbish. Kitchen garbage bins were ineffective. The bread toaster did not work and had to be replaced by Stefano. 2 plates and 2 tea cups that were chipped and cracked. We only habituated the property at night, as we were occupied with events in Florence and Venice. On day 3 of our stay, we arrived to a cold house with no hot water, as the furnace/boiler was not working. Stefano, stated that he was unavailable as he was out of town. and stated his family will attend in the morning after asking us to start the restart the system multiple times. For the next 4 days we had no heat or hot water as furnace could not be fixed. The day of the wedding the women had to go and spend Euro 150 to do their hair. The clothing Iron was broken and could not be used. There were only 3 toilet papers and no replacements given. Stefano charged Euro150 for cleaning, told us to waste in bags will be collected. Travelled across the globe, this is the most AWFUL, TERRIBLE AND TORTUROUS stay. Later we were blamed/charged for the broken Iron, gate remote and 4 the garbage at check out. Not recommended. AVOID this PLACE like the plague. Disgusted with Happy Rentals/VRBO 4 experience.

A great rustic stay

We loved the property, the space for parking, the design elements were okay, and the putside sitting area was great. The kitchen had plenty of space the appliances worked great. The bathrooms were okay, but a bit rustic. We would definitely stay here again. Someone staying in one of other apartments on site let their dog make a mess right in the parking area, and we stepped in it in the dark, so we had to clean that up off of shoes, etc. Their was no sugar in the kitchen, which is not really asking much. The location is great, and the area is beautiful and out of the way in a good way.

Nice stay

Nice property in the suburbs of Firenze, very accessible with public transportation just in font of the house. The place is clean and large, easy going. The communication with Stéphano was quite easy and friendly.
