The BBQ area was its own little resort with a sink and prep area as well as a jacuzzi , hammock and beautiful garden. All doors and windows had fully fitted insect nets and the AC was excellent. “This beautiful rustic cottage was ideal for our two week stay in mid May with our daughter and her husband. It’s on a hillside, is very private, has a lovely terrace overlooking the tiny village and the ocean. We had the local beach to ourselves and enjoyed several nearby pristine (and empty) beaches as well. “Last year we discovered Villa Estia. We returned this year and had a wonderful holiday again. The villa is in a quiet environment, but close to a pleasant village with lots of restaurants and little shops. For hikers there are some beautiful gorges nearby, but also less tiring sights worth visiting. And of course there is always the pool! ;-)”

“The house itself was perfect for even the large group of 12 of us. There is many things to do in the town itself and the local scenery and beaches were lovely. As my whole party was under 21 we could not rent a car so we rented bicycles from the town and I can not recommend this enough. Overall had an amazing holiday👍”

“We were family of 5 ranging from 23 yrs up plus friends of theirs and the areas of villa suited us so well. Outside space great round pool and other coveted seated areas. Driving a must really as the local cafes, supermarkets and beaches all down the bumpy gravel track to villa about 5 mins away only but definitely a must. The pin drop for villa also essential especially if arriving in dark! One of our best family holidays in an unpretentious area that’s not full of British tourists!”

“All I want to say is that the pictures on VRBO are beautiful, but they don’t do this property justice! We loved every inch of Moonlight Villas & hated to leave. The location is ideal in which you can walk to the grocery store, pharmacy, bakeries and restaurants. The beautiful Lybian sea is right in front of the villa. Snorkeling was fantastic! Dora, the owner, and the property manager, Poppie, were very accommodating and hospitable. I highly recommend this property!!!”

“Well-maintained property, very calm, but good located for trips to the sandy beaches, nice taverns in close vicinity. We enjoyed the private beach and the kayaks. The kids also loved the garden and the pool.”

“The house was beautiful and perfectly furnished. We were greeted very warmly by the landlady whom we could call at any time. The inhabitants of the village were also very warm. I would also like to mention the taverna in the village where the residents and we tourists spent an evening together with delicious food and Greek music. We will be back!”
